I'm going to try the rubber band method - its cheap and should work. thanks for the suggestion! cool oil drain - mine is the standard version.

Make sure when you do crank up the Alkin - the mechanical knobs are tightened. Forgot to tighten one when I turned on the machine - guess I was looking at my phone timer too long, and the knob wiggled out and disappeared. Took me awhile to find it - without the knob it will leak air through that...

ttt - the mods should add specific sections to the compressor section - different compressors have their own group of discussion to keep them together - just an idea
