Huben Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

Easy for me to believe. Same problem with my GK1 v1. Nothing fits tight without knurling.

    Huben GK1 .177

I put powder in a container with slugs and gently shook them around. Individually mounting each slug on a toothpick is way more work than I'm willing to do.

    Huben GK1

I thought the UK GK1s are regulated in order to stay under the UK's pistol power limits.

Huben GK1: What Silencer for Backyard Quiet? (or almost)

I shoot my GK1 in two modes. Minimum power and about 40fpe. Mod works for both... pellet/slug impact is the loudest thing in either case.

    What's the lowest FPS

GK1 with power turned all the way down is sending .22 14.5gr at 420fps. It's fantastic. Super quiet. Small, easy to conceal. Slow enough that it's easy to see the pellet in flight, fast enough to do the job. With the GK1 you can adjust and send a followup if the first one missed.

    Huben GK1 .177

My initial experiments with this made me feel it wasn't worth the effort (compared to knurling). Especially since I'm using NSA's hollow point slugs. Hard to coat them without clogging up the point (or at least clogging it consistently). I'll admit I'm a novice powder coater so YMMV.

    Huben GK1 .177

I did some experiments with thin ca glue applied in tiny amounts to a reamed hole. I used a microbrush and just ran it around just below the rim (past the taper). It was the difference from not tight, to just right. I'm working up the nerve to try it on my GK1.

    Huben GK1 .177

Just about everything I try is a sloppy fit in my .22. I've taken to knurling my slugs by rolling them under a coarse file. It increases the diameter just enough to keep them from sliding back n forth in the magazine.

Pest Patrol: DNT ThermNight TNC225R in Action!

I have an ATN X-sight 4k and a AGM Rattler TS19... I deal with pests day & night and having both in one package is the answer. Daytime benefits are obvious in the case of the thermal only AGM. But even at night, I often find myself wishing for whichever one I'm not using. One of these are going...

    Huben GK1 trigger fix?

Weevil, Did you make any progress on fixing this issue with the linkage? Mine is just as you describe yours and it bugs me. It's so sloppy it seems like it must be intentional, but I can't imagine why.

Huben GK1: What Silencer for Backyard Quiet? (or almost)

Using a 3d printed moderator. I used Bambu PA-CF filament for the first time and I am super pleased with the results. Perfect thread profile, no stringing, good surface finish, 10g lighter than print in PETG with same settings. Since the moderator I'm using is not cylindrical it needs to be...

Huben Slug - Peanut .22 caliber

That is genius. I will be making one of these asap. Knurling with a file on the Peanuts worked really well... it only affects the drive bands and they are easy to keep on axis when rolling them.

Huben Slug - Peanut .22 caliber

Using a more coarse file, I was able to knurl some .217" 17.5gr NSAs, enough to be a snug fit. Shot several mags of them without a hiccup. I was shooting at night with a thermal, so I wasn't focused on long range accuracy. Good enough for a rat though. Handy because I have a 1000 of them and the...

Huben Slug - Peanut .22 caliber

I don't have gauge pins. But it can't be much more than what I measured for the diameter of the Peanuts (.2205"). It is sooo close to being a proper fit.

Huben Slug - Peanut .22 caliber

I've only tried a few pellet types so far. All have had a wide enough skirt to stay stuck in the mag.

Huben Slug - Peanut .22 caliber

I tried knurling one with a bastard file. Just rolled it under the file with light pressure. It appears to be enough to result in a slightly snug fit in the mag. It now takes a little push to get the slug seated and it doesn't fall right back out when shaken. Might be good enough to salvage the tin.

Huben Slug - Peanut .22 caliber

I'm disappointed with the Peanuts in my .22 GK1 v1. Calipers say .2205" dia max and that's just a tiny bit too loose for my magazine. They are drop in, fall back out loose. Haven't made it through a magazine without a jam. They are long, trying to seat them deeper doesn't accomplish anything.

    Huben Huben GK1 .22: A Beginner's Journey to a DIY Mini Carbine

I took a bit of a shortcut when I designed my stock this weekend. For about 20 minutes of modeling I'm pretty happy. Worked on the first iteration. Weight: 120g

Western Airguns Hushing the Sidewinder Mini .30

Trying to keep as much space as possible in my garage/shop, I stuffed a 5HP 2-stage 80gal air compressor in my tiny downstairs bathroom. It had a similar effect when it would unexpectedly top-up.
