Cold out but had to shoot a little. Group is with jsb 44.75. Tried griffin slugs 56 grain. Not as much luck. 54 yards First shot after filling is always a dud. Way down on fps. Anyone else have that issue or ideas why that would occur?

I have not ordered a barrel band yet but I can see that being a huge benefit and atleast piece of mind for accidental bumps and even takin gun in and out of truck etc.

I only have about 25 rounds through it so far. I can try to shoot some with and some without this weekend but so far so good. I also have one on my akela. But I get the ft lb concern

I just installed the buck rail 30cal non taper. Quieted it down substantially and for 40 bucks I’m very happy with it very light weight to which is a plus with an already heavy gun

Pushed her out to 77 yards today seamed to tighten up as I got closer to 3000 psi. Was fun but cold ha. Shooter needs some more work

I think I would have liked the bolt myself. But at the same time I enjoy the side lever I agree the length and weight of the gun would have made it a neat shooter with iron sights. Almost like shouldering an older muzzleloader

I was curious about the barrel band I’ll look for one. I do think the accuracy is better than I shot there. I wasn’t using bipod for actual shooting just the photo shoot haha . My target was in a different area. Was shooting offhand with shoulder leaned against tree. It was the jsb 44.75

My 7 year old wanted to shoot Airguns with me. She was struggling with handling a rifle length of pull and eye relief and what not so I through together a 1322 with red dot on it. And what a difference! Her first 5 shot group! (Rested of course). Guess I gotta paint it pink now haha
