I have clipped my Caldwell twice. I really don't pay much attention to FPS anymore. As long as I can hit what I'm aiming at that's all I care about. I was never able to connect the Caldwell to my Android phone, Usually got consistent reading on screen. Bill
The secret to make the YH and TUX last is the proper oil. Mobil rarus is the one I use, No problems in 3 yrs , But I don't use it as much as some and only guns.

My JSB"s arrived without the luxury of the paper wad just empty box and pellet tins. Skirts on at least half the pellets are bent. Never again from Amazon.
Get a quality small fountain pump for use and keep supplied pump as back-up. Flowing water too fast will not be as efficient as it won't absorb the heat as well. Bill

Beezer, Lucas was known a "The Prince of Darkness" I rode a dirt kitted BSA B50T for 15 yrs. Solid performer only broke down once when the coil went bad. Was running flawless and had the original piston when I sold it.
I experimented with drill sizes and depth as shown in YouTube Video. Twisted the bit with my fingers, Easy as abc. The foam holds the pellets firmly but easily extracted. Bill
