Karma My Micro Review of my 2025 Edition Karma Red Panda in .22

Looking forward to some 50M pics and follow up. Very interesting rig. Will there be barrel swap kits available and what all would need to have included? I wonder if .22, .25, .30 all use the same valve? On the sight is says all three use the same hammer weight but different reg pressure...

The Rapid design and all its iterations will always be the most simple, versatile and rugged airgun out there. Here a a few I've built from scratch. The other is my current project that is a factory Rapid made in England that I putting in an awesome stock that Martin made me 10 yrs ago. I...

    Old Beeman catalog!

Man that all brings back so many memories. 1980 I ordered a FWB 124 from the Beeman catalogue. I read all the info on how accurate and powerful each one was and then there was a section on what game kill zone size was and how much power needed. Set me on a life long hobby. And I am really...

N/A Best *Obsolete* or *Discontinued* PCP Rifle?

I would say an FX Elite. Made around 2012 and was a single shot that was side cocking had through the bolt transfer port with no probe. I never see anyone post on them any more but I always wanted one.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

They already make the dies. And the Rebel kit will accept them. They seem more responsive and quicker turn around time that some others out there. I hear some are 6 months out on a slug die. The Rebel is heavier, stronger and brand new compared to the Chucker while still being made in the USA.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

Yes, at first I had way to much lead and they were 1.5" long on each side. I've backed down the amount I start with so they are smaller.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

Yeah that explains a few more things very well. I did notice the little dimple I drilled for the ejection pin actually hits in a spot of the ram bore that is a grease groove so you don't have to worry about a burr sticking up and making the ram have a sticky spot which was a bonus.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

Coxworkshop, engg.ken and I wanted it to be an open source DIY for guys like us who can make stuff and GMI got involved so there will be dies and parts for those who don't have a complete cnc shop like I do. I'm hoping GMI will make and sell the parts needed to everyone. But the files and...

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

This is where I want to put some spacers or stack washers. It's not worth making a special cross bolt but I need to fill in the gaps.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

At first this is what I did for the knuckle. It was a little more than some of you that don't have a mill in the shop and can do yourself. Coxworkshop simply moved the pivot hole and it can be done on a drill press with a vise. He will post a pic again to show his simpler solution.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

So here is where I'm at. I will try some of these out. I can make a few for guys interested in trying out this DIY thing. I will have to see what other GMI dies are available. I know they are working on several new ones. These are 36gr hollow points.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

Here is one modification I did so seat the ejection pin securely. It puts a little dimple in the far wall of the casting and the pin will rest in it making it stronger by supporting it. It's just is the right thing to do. You will notice I switched rams when I install one. Putting the hole...

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

These are the GMI die set parts for a .218 slug. They are all very hard and nicely made. I've owned my own machine shop for 30 years and I like the quality. It's something I would produce and be proud of.

The DIY RCBS Rebel/GMI swagging kit

I wanted to give an up on this project. Both Coxworkshop and I were interested in swagging and wanted something we and others with some skills and tools could DIY and share the info. We ended up starting with an RCBS Rebel press and making the parts to convert it to a swagger. We've made dies...

    Made in the USA

Do they make any other pellets? I'm a paper puncher so expansion isn't my thing. But I think it great to have anything made in the USA. There was a company who builds a pellet machine at the shotshow this year. I had them on my list but could not find the booth. Not sure if they showed up...
