+1 on the rubber mulch. I started out with a cardboard box (free) with one bag of mulch ($7.00). Worked great until i forgot to bring it in and it rained. So I made a box out of treated wood and leave it out all of the time. I use the corregated plastic used to make signs to keep the mulch in.
Ordered a set for my 1701P about the middle of January. He said I should get them around the middle of March. I have another pair from him and they are really nice and worth the wait.
Hey guys thanks for the info. I was looking to get the lower power HM1000 instead on the HM1000X as my backyard range only goes to 35 yards and I want to keep it quiet. I am going to give Airguns USA a call.
Been shooting a Brocock HR for awhile and decided I wanted to buy a more traditional looking gun with a walnut stock. Decided on a RAW HM1000. Called RAW today and asked about pricing on a walnut stock HM1000 with CF bottle. The person told me they no longer make walnut stocks and the only...
Yes I would agree with the posts above if you don't feel like making a run to walmart. Motor oil, Alphabet org, machine oil, air tool oil, motorcycle fork oil. Just don't use brake fluid it will damage the orings.
You need some pellgun oil. You can get it at walmart. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Crosman-maintenance-Pellgun-Oil-for-pneumatic-and-CO2-airguns-0241/19866113
I have a Crosman 1701P and I am looking for the Williams notch sight with the thumbscews for windage and elevation adjustment. Crosman part # is 0066N PM me if you have one that you want to sell. thanks
Yeah I was planning on getting a custom 2300 in December and ended up waiting until January. I called customer service to ask why the custom shop is offline and he said it was difficult to get in raw materials and they did not have parts to build guns. Happy ending though they did have a 1701P...
I just bought a Hill MK5 pump for $199 + 20 shipping and it is high quality pump. Used to pump my Brocock HR. Very smooth and easy to use. Made in UK but a few 2more bucks.
Yes it has a 480cc bottle. I started at 80 bar and did 100 pumps waited 15 mins then 80 pumps wait 15 min then 54 to finish it off. So 234 total. I'd say the time actually pumping was ~ 10 min with the 15 min breaks to allow the pump to cool. The next time I shot I am going to stop at 150...
Have always had some sort of airgun since I was a kid. The only one I have kept over the years is my blue streak .20 cal. I also have a GAMO swarm maxxim so I have planned to sell it and buy a PCP. Keeping an eye on the classifieds.
