My shooting pal has an Avenger and I gotta say, it's hard not to love it. The thing shoots as good or better than some guns costing many times the price. A little work on the trigger and it even makes my demand of having a very good trigger. What's not to like.

I like some form of mild christmas tree, but it has to have numbers for quick aquisition of the proper hold. Especially in dark backgrounds, you can get lost in the reticle fairly easily. Hawke's AMD is pretty good but needs numbers. As I get older a lighted reticle is almost a must.

Wow! Beautiful. I had one new model and one 1st gen, great guns I foolishly let go. They are super rifles and you're lucky, as if I'd seen it on AOA, it'd be living at my house. I do like the versatility of the Crown, so it is my favorite FX. I like being able to tune on the fly.

I almost always shoot at 10x and once in a while 12x, that's why I use mostly fixed power scopes. I have a 4-16x, a 5-20x, a 3-12x, and a 6-24x and even those normally get used at 10x or 12x, even when I shoot at 100 yards.
