cea1960, i've been eyeing it for a while and i figured to pull the trigger on the synthetic stock from Krale. Odoyle, I'll look into the diana bullseye. Seems like there are mixed reviews on the construction of them. What brands do you recommend that have great warranties?

This will be mainly backyard plinking and rodent control. I have squirrels in the crawlspace that makes regular appearances. This is my first gun of any kind. I'm okay with spending around 600 for both mounts and scope.
