Update: Regular Alphabet org fluid did the trick. I lubed the piston and after pumping it a few times the hissing noise of leaking air stopped. Thank you for the tip!

Very impressive mods on the 2240. Nice to see what can be done with the 2240. I recently bought the 2240xl and am just starting down the rabbit hole on 2240 mods. It's easy to see how a sub $100 gun can quickly become a $500+ gun!

Looks like Pyramid Air is still doing the free shipping over $99 plus I assume they are still doing the ~$25 discount for signing up with a new email. 

I have a H9 pump pistol that is 20+ years old. It sat for a long time without being used and now leaks air when pumped. Does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for this gun?

I think it only makes sense to modify a 2240 if you're into tinkering and making a unique piece. The prod seems to be a cheaper way to go.

I would think after a few hundred shots you'd shoot out the center of the backstop. Am I missing something?
