still looking for springer rated scope info

Hi Valerike: i have a Gamo whisper fusion 2. It easily destroyed the bundled scope it came with. I don't really do much besides plinking, a bit of paper-punching and such, and that at ranges around 30 yards or so. I'm rather new to airgunning, but have spent 50 years or so with powder burners...

    magnum rated scopes

Please guys! I'm a newcomer to airgunning. While I have known for years about the peculiar recoil that destroys scopes, I still see myself befuddled. Without any predilections toward a favored brand, can anyone provide a true advice on which scopes can really withstand the 'magnum' springer rating?

    FX mounts

I am considering the FX 'no-limits' mount. Does anyone have any information relating to their ability to retain their settings once secured? I wonder as to their ability to stay where I put them.
