I will really advise to get the bottle version of the Wildcat. I have a .22 compact and whish that I have spent the extra money to get the BT model. The tube just run out of air to quick, last for about 2 magazines before refill needed. Tuned to 33 fpe.

It stops where the rifling starts to engage the ogive. Perfectly normal.

It could be a faulty pressure gauge. Try and get another one to test on the compressor.

I would say up the pellet weights to 25 grain. Maybe the light pellets does not react to the changes in the settings that well.

Mine is the .22 and runs at about 29 FPE. Very accurate at 30m with 18 grain pellets, JSB, JTS, AA, H&N. They all work.
