    Tuning Winchester 1977XS already broken!

It's been lubricated per the manual it came with. That had no effect. Not sure the compression tube got any oil. I'll mess with that tonight. I'm about to just throw it in the trash and order a Sig ASP20 or something. Pretty frustrated right now.

    Tuning Winchester 1977XS already broken!

Yeah, it's a cheap multipumper, but it's my only pellet rifle currently. Has less than 1,000 shots through it and it's already broken. Is it worth it to send this thing in for warranty repair? Or should I try to fix it myself? When I try to pump it, the air escapes from the piston somewhere. I...

Is the Benjamin Marauder an Affordable, Reliable, Accurate Semi-Auto PCP???

Me too, but that price tag has me skeered. LOL.

Air dryer for Yong Heng compressor

Nice setup igolfat8. Thanks for the pics. It helps me visualize what I might want to do. I'm probably going to build an all in one cart system to hold the compressor, the filters, the bucket of water, and a shelf above it all to rest the rifle on while it fills. Put it on locking casters and...

You could be the next competitor on American Airgunner!

I don't have a good enough... A. Camera B. Air rifle C. Video editing skills ...to even enter this little competition, LOL. Good luck to all those who enter.

Air dryer for Yong Heng compressor

So do you keep the desiccant sealed off from outside air when the pump is not in use? How often do you dry out the intake side desiccant?

    Air Compressor for a Noob

Well, I just checked WalMart.com and the cheapest version is priced at 289.99, and there is no extended warranty option. It's actually not even sold by WalMart...said shipped and sold by some third party seller. Guess even WalMart is like eBay and Amazon now? I think I'll probably end up getting...

    Air Compressor for a Noob

I've looked at the Nomad and it is well beyond what I'm willing to spend. I'm looking for something 300 or less that will fill a gun directly...and eventually a SCBA tank. I won't get one right away, but I hope to snag a used one within 6 months or so.

    Air Compressor for a Noob

Yeah, I have no intention of getting one of those, despite how good the warranties might be on various makes and models. They are all more expensive too, from what I have seen.

    Air Compressor for a Noob

I looked while back and they were out of stock. I'll check again. That's not much more than getting one off eBay. I'd be willing to pay more to have that warranty, but who knows how much they'll cover if it breaks.

    Air Compressor for a Noob

Yeah, I considered that kind of filter, but I read that it only works as long as it is cooler than the air going into it. After it warms up, the moisture stops condensing out of the air. If I was rolling in cash, I'd just get both kinds of filters. But that isn't very practical.

    Air Compressor for a Noob

I'm doing my research on PCP and I've settled on the Benjamin Marauder in .177 for my rifle. Now I need to figure out the compressor/air dryer/SCBA tank issue. Right now I'm leaning towards getting a Yong Heng compressor. I'm doing this on a budget and can't get anything high end, but I don't...

BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

Ouch, 150 euros? Hey, good for you -- it's your money, spend it how you want. I just spent 20 USD on a 5 gallon storage container and a bag of rubber mulch. It will stop anything up to a .22 LR and possibly a 9mm (I'm told). It's also quiet. The pellet going through the paper target is the...

BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

Interesting. I may have to try this kind of pellet trap too, LOL. I know my version is super cheap, but the wood backer is heavy since the container I chose is too big. I'm going to try something new this weekend. Thanks for the ideas!

BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

That's a good idea. I think I'll save it too...maybe I'll find a use for it eventually. I just looked up casting your own pellets and it looks like a giant waste of time. So...that's out.

BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

Any use for the old lead? Maybe melt it down and cast it into large chunks for powder burner projectiles? I cleaned out my trap a couple of nights ago and I felt just a little weird throwing all that lead away. I was wondering if I'm the only one? Is there such a thing as casting your own...

BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

I was HEAVY into watches for a handful of years. It was an all-consuming hobby for me at the time. I still enjoy the ones I have, but I'm down from 13 to just 5 (includes a beater for yard work) and I'm probably about to sell one of them (good condition Seiko Sawtooth) to help fund my first PCP...

BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

Have you had to replace the mesh bag or the t-shirts? I've been wondering how old t-shirts would fare over the long haul. I end up using them as rags for my oil changes, but if they work for pellet traps too, and would make it easy to clean the pellets out of the trap, that would be awesome.

Another good box idea! I like that hinged lid. Also, looks like you are a watch guy, intenseaty22?
