I used a little simple green on the radiator and flushed it really well. The rest of the system i just flushed with water. I also removed the resevor and pump and cleaned it because it had gunk in it.

i had to take my radiator out and flush it out until the gunk stopped coming out. Also flushed the rest of the system too. That was a year ago or so. Havent seen anymore of that gunk yet.

Imagine my temporary disappointment when fixing to put a DFL Shogun on it and there was no way...LOL i had trouble sleepin and developed a stomach ache. The stomach pain went away instantly when I was able to separate the endcap.

whoops!!! The endcap comes apart in addition to the baffle separating. I figured it out. It was hard getting the endcap to separate in half. wow!!!

If it leaks from the base of the fitting where it threads into the tube, then it needs tightening or maybe some teflon tape. If it leaks from the end of the fitting then its the oring not seating right inside of it. The oring may be distorted or have a little debris on the seat. You could...

i believe that the allen screw is loosening. Use some vibratite or threadlocker to tighten it down. I use moly grease to lube all bearing surfaces of the bolt and orings.

what about bolt probe orings? When they are worn, they still work but velocity is diminished. And they need regular greasing.
