I had a db 110 on my Sniper XR and switched it for a 160, then got a 160 for my Ghost, although I didn't measure the difference on the Sniper, it was noticeable enough to keep the 160s on both of them. Slightly longer, but quieter enough to make it worth it for me.

The folks at AOA recommended MRDs when I bought my .22 HP and so far they've worked very well.
