I've just bought a used GRS King stock, and was wondering what the finish is and how to care for it.

I have a DRS, a Dynamic and an Impact. I've just ordered a synthetic King and the Impact is off. Mine are all 12 ft/lbs. I like them all, but the supported barrels on the DRS and Dynamic have won me over.

Local gun shop. I was going withe the saber tactical chassis, but decided I prefer the synthetic stock.

There are two different sizes of the valvetube end.. One for MK1 and MK2 and a larger one for MK3. You need to order the correct part. My supplier substitutes their own part number, but the part exists and is a different size.

I have two pieces of tube. a smaller diameter one for removal and a larger one for pushing in back in and being able to remove it without distubding the piston/washers.

As it's an M4 is the scope rail tight?

I don't really know what to suggest. I have fitted probably half a dozen of these kits, and never had an issue. the only variable is where you screw the valve tube plenum end in, but that would make the valve rod short if it wasn't screwed in far enough. I've had a couple of C1s that I have had...

Have you made sure the valve is seated properly?. Is it flush at the back?

No, the location of the pins in the trigger block is different.

I suppose it depends on how long you are going to live :) . Me, I'd buy it if I wanted it.

I always lightly lube my 'o' rings with silicone ....either grease or oil. I find that it stops them drying out.

I was wondering what size trhe standard porting is?.

To be honest, the reg is probably the hardest part of the gun to work on. Even on a recent re-seal I always replace any 'o' rings I come across as a matter of routine. I am just building another Impact from parts and have pulled it down to every component part that has an "o" ring....it's cheap...
