I tried my phone camera. It has 10x magnification which is not enough to see 177 cal holes at 10 meters. That is why I thought a camera set very close to the target with the ability to wifi the picture to my phone may be a solution.

Looks like it would be a fun project. The other option I was considering was to place a baby monitor camera very close to the target with a link to my cell phone. This would allow me to see each shot live.
