Your second picture shows the marks in the pins where they are peened to hold in place. Your punch the pins out from the opposite side.

I don't know about the P3, but if it is anywhere near as good as my original Prophet Performance it will be a great choice. I went through lots of reeading and research before I decided on mine and it has been good enough that I have not had an urge to attempt to find anything else.

Probably becasue dovetail provides a lower profile, but most people I know use a picatiny adapter, canceling out the low profile advantage.

If I had to get rid of all but one airgun, I would keep my AirForce TalonP. But the question is irrelevant, because I am keeping all of my guns, Air and powder burners.
