    N/A Painting a PCP tank?

You are probably correct, but at 4500psi, the words "Should be" rate right up there with "Should have". Paint it and probalby never have a problem, but I will just leave mine as it is. I am not entering my gun in a beauty contest.

    Other Cold shot accuracy

I agree. It is not a competition. For me it was just a curiosity about my gun after reading comments in another thread about reg creep and it's effect on a first cold shot. It wasn't even about shooting living creatures. I have a very predictable non regulated gun that serves that purpose. As...

    Other Cold shot accuracy

Thats great! So show us some 100 yard cold shots. I would but don't have a 100 yard shooting lane...........yet. Working on that though. Lots of Yaupon Holly to clear out first, and so little time to do it.

N/A Whats your most consistently accurate airgun?

I just finished my five cold shot test, but rather than spread it out in this thread, I started a new one and would love to see others results in this type of test. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/cold-shot-accuracy.1321658/

    Other Cold shot accuracy

A few weeks ago I was reading through the "Whats your most onsitently accurate airgun?" thread. Regulator creep andcold shot accuracy was brought up. So this got me wondering and I decided to do a little test with my RTI Prophet Performance with a .25 RPB barrel installed. I have my Prophet...

Other Shout out to Orion TIH

I got some of Orions mags when I got my .25 RPB barrel for my Prophet. They were also quite a tight fit, but a firm push and they seated. After that no problems at all

N/A Whats your most consistently accurate airgun?

Here is the next cold shot. #3 I think. Heading out again now, but will continue Monday or Tuesday. I think 2 more should be enough.

    N/A Moisture in PCP airguns

I have two compressors. In low humidity I will use my water cooled compressor in my garage with a filter. In higher humidity, I have a slower but quieter compresser that I use in a spare bedroom wher the AC keeps the air reasonably dry and the quiet compressor does not make the wife cranky...

    Airforce Talon P Carbine .25

I have hand pumped mine, but not since I put a larger bottle on it. The original setup was not terribly difficult to hand pump as long as you were not starting with a totally empty bottle

N/A Whats your most consistently accurate airgun?

Yeah, I guess I expect too much sometimes. Usually, if I do my part, the shot will be in the red. Speaing of enviromental factors, I did go out yesterday morning, but it was too windy and I did not feel that variable belonged in this cold shot test. So it will be another week before I have any...

    N/A Painting a PCP tank?

I would not paint a CF tank, but if you do, use caution that you do not use products that can react with the resins in the carbon fiber composite. I have seen people ruin motorcycle helmets by painting them.

    Airforce Talon P Carbine .25

I found a paintball bottle that was 100cc larger than the one that came on my Talon P. I had to buy an adaptor, but it worked well. As for cutting down the barrel, I would try it at full length first. I would definitely not cut it down to the 12 inch legnth of the Talon P barrel if power is the...

Other ere to go look at a big bore air rifle

It would be a long drive but there is an airgun shop in San Antonio that has a good stock and run by good folks that seem to know their stuff. https://shop.alamoairguns.com/ There is also one in Austin, but I have not been there so I don't know much about it. https://biggameairguns.com/

    N/A Female Foster Fittings

I was thinking the same thing. Everything seems to be Chinese these days. I have not encountered any size mismatches, but I have had a couple leak. I have plenty of spares, so just swapped them out. That was three years ago, and have had no leaks since. Probably have a leak today now that I...

N/A Whats your most consistently accurate airgun?

I got home late yesterday. Second cold shot this morning. Again at 50 yards. No site in. Just load and shoot. A little low. Probably me, maybe the pellet, I kind of doubt the gun though, but won't rule it out. If time allows, I will try to get shot three tomorrow before I head out for the...

    Umarex Umarex Origin

My first PCP was an Origin. For the price it was, and still is a great gun. I think the Ever Pressure system was a great idea and worked quite well, but suspect that there were a lot of failures. My first one developed a leak, and Umarex had me send it in to them. They just replaced the gun...

    AEA opinions on aea guns

I have a TalonP and yes, it is only available in .25, but honestly, I think it is near perfect in that caliber and does everything I need it to do. If I were to upgrade it, I might go for a .257 slug barrel, but more likely would just go with a Texan instead. I like my TalonP too much as it is...

I bought my P1 and my TalonP from Talon Tunes. Tony is a great guy to deal with. I will buy my next gun from him if at all possible.
