I thought that new forend looked awkward too. You should not have any problem finding an old style. I have one somewhere. I think I have a Buckrail 3D printed forend with a short picatinny incorparated. I will dig though my stoarge and see if I can locate them if you are interested.

A compressor is nice to have, but there are a lot of guns that can be hand pumped if you don't mind a little exercise. Two of the three guns I have can be hand pumped with problem. Now if a person is going to do a lot of shooting, hand pumping can get old pretty fast.
