FFP or SFP Thinking about a change

You're right. But the guys that dial turrets or just use Kentucky windage aren't likely to use the sub-tension marks for windage either. But if someone wants to dial the elevation turret and use sub-tension marks for windage, there definitely is an advantage to using a FFL scope.

FFP or SFP Thinking about a change

A FFP scope only benefits the guy that uses the reticle markings for holdover. If you're one of those turret dialing guys or just a hillbilly that does the Kentucky windage thing, FFP doesn't give you any real advantage.

Preferred optic type for stocked pistol

I've noticed there's a lot of pistols with detachable stocks these days. Not something commonly encountered in the PB world. And most of the optics we use are primarily designed for powder burners. So here's my question: if anyone uses their gun both with and without the stock, what type of...

FX FxM4 27 grn zan slug tune

More of a shameless bump to get more views from someone that might help, but what caliber are you shooting? I couldn't find 27 gr Zans. I'll admit I didn't look very hard, but I saw 26.5 and 28 gr in .25 and 28 gr in .22. M4s are very adjustable and a little complicated. Someone else's tune...

FX FxM4 27 grn zan slug tune

I don't have an M4 so I'm not going to be much help, but anyone who is will probably need more information to even give you a starting point. Barrel length? Sub-12 or FAC?

New pistol from FX, whaddya guys think?

It looks cool. I'm waiting to see the price and specs before I decide if I need it though. And fortunately, it comes out right near the end of the shooting season here. So I won't probably buy one until this time next year. All the potential kinks should hopefully be worked out by then.

New pistol from FX, whaddya guys think?

It looks to be longer than 4 inches. If you look at how far back it loads, that barrel runs almost the full length of the gun. Maybe 8-10 inches. Hard to tell in the video. Can't tell how far it runs to the business end either because it looks like it has some sort of baffle/air...

FX Maverick and Wildcat MK3 BT Safety

That same manual also says under the caliber change section "make sure rifle is un-cocked! Set the safety to its safe position." So maybe it is okay... Or maybe not...

FX Maverick and Wildcat MK3 BT Safety

The owner's manual for the WC mk3 says "only use the safety when the rifle is cocked!" I don't know if it could damage the safety or the trigger or if it just opens a gateway to some alternate reality. But I'm not going to take that risk. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than myself will...

    Advice needed on caliber selection

The ballistic coefficient of lead free pellets is terrible. 100 yards would really be a challenge in any caliber. Especially with any kind of wind. What kind of groups are you expecting at that range? If you're just trying to get them all on the paper, you could probably do that. Precision...

FX fx wildcat m3 tube 230 cc

I'm a little over 12 ft lbs. Around 16, I believe. It shoots great out to 60 yards. I haven't shot any groups on paper recently enough to remember what size groups it shoots. But it'll regularly hit walnuts, bottle caps, and other targets of opportunity at that range.

    Other New to PCPs

Of the options you listed, I only have experience with the Stoeger. But that would work fine for your intended purpose. It's accurate enough, reliable, hand pump friendly, and cheap. If you're just looking for a pest control tool and not looking to go down the PCP rabbit hole, it's not a bad option.

FX fx wildcat m3 tube 230 cc

3 mags sounds like a small amount but they have 22 round mags in .177 so that's still 66 shots. Mine is currently shooting the 8.4 grain FX pellets at 935 fps. Never counted my shots but I know it's over a hundred per fill. Reg is around 80 bar.

    FX Maverick question

Yep, same shot count with lower power or same power with lower shot count. There's always a trade off for a more compact setup.

FX Fx wildcat mk3 bottled barrel band

I use them on my MK3 tube guns. They seem to work well. I believe the guns are slightly more accurate without, but the barrel band is almost necessary on the sniper. Otherwise the shifting POI could drive a guy insane. I don't think it's needed on my compact, but it gives me a little peace of mind.

    N/A Choose One Gun Please

The DRS is a fine rifle. Mine is incredibly accurate and has plenty of power for what I use it for.

FX The DRS TACTICAL HAS BEEN REVEALED.

There's that mid sized plenum we've been asking for. Looks like it probably won't fit on the other models of DRS though...

    Impact of tarriff on China?

I'm with Vetmx on this. I'm not losing any sleep over any of this. Even if I have to pay a little more to shoot my airguns, I'm not going to stop doing it. And it's not productive to worry about things I can't change. It's just better to focus more on becoming a better shooter and less on economics.

    Usps.....unbelievable

I recently got a Wildcat from Baker Airguns, which is a great shop, by the way. It somehow stopped moving for quite a while. Eventually, it got here but it took over two weeks to go from Ohio to Minnesota. Still not my worst shipping experience though.

    High end airgun recommendation

The Maverick is a proven platform. It's an FX so parts availability and schematics are pretty readily available. But there's quite a few o-rings in most FX guns. But the Maverick is far from the worst. But be prepared to deal with potential POI shifts. The Ghost is a Brocock. So it's most...
