I've got a chronograph and have tried speeds from 860 to 920. It will stack 3 or 4 than you'll get a flyer. I have sorted the pellets to eliminate bent skirts. Gun is very consistent with spread of 5 fps.
I have the sidewinder compact in .22 cal. I haven't found any pellets that the gun likes. I tried those redesinged and fx and multiple jsb' even the new monster's. Gun will stack 3 or 4 then 1 or 2 flyers terribly in accurate for the money I shelled out, any sugestions? Thanks
My 2cd reg is at 150 mac wheel is 10-12 depending on temperature and my micro wheel is at 4.5 that puts my fps at 970 which my gun loves shooting the Hybrids at.
I've found the hybrids are the only slugs my M3 likes mines also .30 cal. The gun is stock except for the pellet probe. 970 fps is the preferred speed.
Is it just me or is everybody having trouble getting Fx Hybrids in .30 cal. I cant find them anywhere. Also still waiting on those Halos they have been talking about
I've got the same gun and caliber. I had to install the slug kit to get the speeds I was after. My regs are 175/135 I tried most all .22 slugs and the nsa .218 in 20.2gr shot the best @970fps.
Fx makes a short pic rail that is slightly curved and fits perfectly. It also comes with the fasteners I installed one on my bt and it's solid. No brainer
I saw that in your picture. Unfortunately that's not my problem. I've been playing with the hammer screw adjuster and get it a little better. As of today the last group I shot has an es of 20 fps and a standard dev of 5.
Thanks for clarifying Jim I've been trying the same thing based on what Ted put out in his video. I have just the pin probe and cannot achieve the speeds the Ted claimed. Looks like I need to put the rest of the kit in.
I thought about trying to fix it myself but looks a little to complex my luck I'd make it worse. It's under warranty hopefully turn around time isn't to long I'm running out of nice weather to shoot.
After adjusting regs to 165/135 for shooting slugs I shot about 100 rounds and my gun I developed a huge leak coming from what I think they call the poppet valve. Anyone have any ideas.
My brother and I went together and bought a Omega turbo compressor. Very satisfied it's pricy but well worth it. It fills my 580 bottle from 150 to 250 bar in under 2 minutes.
