It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. Tuned a Cricket 2 Tac that came out great and thought I’d share. The Old Crickets are still hard hitting and accurate with great regulators! I did some porting on this barrels transfer port, changed out the valve spring and cut a custom hammer spring...
Caveat: The Vulcan 3 - 500 I had tested above, has a choked CZ barrel as all 500mm CZ barrels that AGT used in .177, .22 & .25 previous had. Now, however, all AGT barrels of any length are not choked in new current offerings!!
Uragan for slug shooting. The U2 - 600 would be great. They have addressed the valve and it function fine. It's a balanced-valve and if you operated as a balanced-valve should, it's great!
Daystate is notorious for having small action/frame and barrel transfer ports. They've blossomed as of late with the Delta Wolf / Ghost platforms, thank goodness. With proper porting you'd only need 135 bar or so. With what you have from factory, you will need 145 to 150 with your hammer stroke...
All Vulcans have unchoked barrels now. Yes, all barrel lengths and calibers. The .30 mags will allow a 55gr slug. Going to 60gr or larger, for guns that I setup, I have 3D printed mag plates that are thinner allowing up to a 70gr slug.
