    Scope leveler...

IMO, if the scope isn't true... tube to reticle to turrets... you're screwed any way you go. Sure you might get the reticle plumb, but if it's not true to the turrets the minute you dial you introduce error. At that point you've only got whatever holdover you can see at a particular zoom level...

    New rifle Altaros M24 TCS

This is exciting to hear! I'm also a fan of the new chassis, I didn't mean to imply I wasn't. When you get around to introducing something to increase power and shot count it will definitely be worth revisiting. In my experience so far, I'd want to see between 905 and 955 fps with the 40 gr...

    New rifle Altaros M24 TCS

Air volume is the problem, you can find the older thread where they introduced the magazine. Not close to enough for NRL22 / PRS (yet???) Edit: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/new-magazines-for-airgun-altaros-m24.1317437/#post-1794791 tl;dr .22 cal 10 shots @ 63 fpe

    Air Shootist's NRL22 Season So Far - A Mid-season Write-up

I don't want to hijack Warren's thread.. but briefly, the guts of my rifle are the same as last year. I did swap to a Dynamic back end, 360 cc 300 bar bottle, and Huma 1st stage reg. I also swapped to the undertaker front rail. It extends a bit further and the internal weights bring the center...

    Air Shootist's NRL22 Season So Far - A Mid-season Write-up

Agreed. I would say my groups at 100 are slightly not as good as at a slower speed. But for my shooting it works.

    Air Shootist's NRL22 Season So Far - A Mid-season Write-up

I was wondering the same thing, so I tried it. And at least for me, yes. I wanted a flatter trajectory. I'm at about the limit for my 600, 955 at about ~170 bar. When I was trueing this rifle, these were my groups at 300 and 400 (1 inch squares). Better accuracy may be possible closer to...

Put your big boy pants on! My 600 is shooting the 40s @ 955.

    FX carbon sleeve not tight?!

I mean it's not great.... Yes the jam nut holds the liner in the steel sleeve. But lack of fitment means all kinds of weird vibrations.

    Events PRS Rimfire Nationals

Keep in mind the other fun thing about PRS is the targets can be whatever they want. We had: circles squares triangles diamonds playing cards - club, spade, diamond, heart, big and small jokers squirrels sasquatches bowling pins various animals - turkey, duck, ram, prairie dog rectangles -...

The target size doesn't scale linearly. They didn't give all target sizes, but I bet those 294 yd targets were around 12 inches. The ones they did publish were for some of the kyl stages. I won't count the 1/4" kyl at 58... 1 1/4" @ 92 3" @ 145 2" @ 124 In general, I'd guess anything inside...

Not much more I can add. I would say PRS and NRL22X are very similar. Another difference is par times. In monthly NRL22 matches they are 2 minute stages. In PRS the most common is 105 seconds. I shot one that was 100 sec, and the Great Lakes regional finale was mostly 90 sec! This national...

    Events PRS Rimfire Nationals

I could pull out the match book... actually gimme a sec while I do that... There were 2 stages that had targets at 294. I went maybe 50% on those. I'd say the majority of targets for the whole match were between 115 and 185 yds. One of the bigger challenges was the temp change through the...
