Does it exist? Slash, SWFA SS second gen?

Following with interest. Always loved the SWFA SS, but admit it lacks in image quality. Eyebox gets a bit touchy for me beyond 12x too. Will second @cavedweller recommendation to check out the S-TAC 4-20 FFP ZS (model 26016). Just a bit out on some of your specs, but not terribly so. Good...

    Hunter Piston shooters - question?

My brother is owned by a boat- from March through October, something breaks or quits working right about once a week. Which is about how often he takes it out . Admit to hearing this (paraphrased) from an experienced local springer guy- "Once you get it set up, it'll work 24/7/365 to...

That would be a (if not The) candidate.

    Hunter Piston shooters - question?

Appreciate the replies gents! Maybe if I keep threatening promising to own a springer "someday", the spring piston fairies will put one in my safe. If that were to happen, would likely want to attempt FT with it. Sum total of piston air rifle experience is maybe a dozen shots... don't even...

    Hunter Piston shooters - question?

Curious... What is the power output of your rifle(s), and why? - Get as close as reasonably possible to that 20 fpe limit for trajectory or to shoot a heavier, higher BC pellet? - Keep it low (say 11-13 fpe?) to be more forgiving (for lack of a better term)? - Let the rifle tell you what power...

Kalibrgun The Cricket Carbine, or There & Back Again

More data now available (geez I spend too much time around engineers), and still looking good! Worked on dope out to 100 & feel pretty confident with it. Actual results match very well with Strelok when using a BC (G1) of 0.060. Had some air in the tank, so popped some more 100 yard groups with...

Kalibrgun The Cricket Carbine, or There & Back Again

Have seen your posts, & that one's a shooter too! Believe it's the same barrelled action as the carbine, just in a bullpup stock? Charlie has mentioned to me that while all the Kalibr barrels he works with are good, the "lottery winners" tend to be the carbine/long.

Kalibrgun The Cricket Carbine, or There & Back Again

My favorite misfit from the land of bullpups (eastern/central EU) is the Cricket Carbine. Have spilled enough virtual ink here & elsewhere on the net explaining why, so will keep it simple here: more than any other rifle - air or powder - it just fits me. Saw a while back that @Georgia Airguns...
