    Diana Diana two forty

I reviewed the Two Forty on my channel. Rudimentary trigger. The case hardening is very thin. I broke through it trying to stone the sear. Other than that, I was surprised by the accuracy and for the price tag, it's pretty hard to beat. Would make a great kids 1st pellet gun.

    Other Black Bunker BM8

Try a little automotive valve grinding compound on a small, round head, BRASS screw chucked up in a drill. apply a little pressure with the round head screw using the valve grinding compound to chamfer the leading edge of the rear of the barrel. This may take care of the issue. Also, you can...

Other Here's a theory that I've developed. Hoping for confirmation...

So, it would seem be be the case that the first shot will have a different POI than say, shot number twelve. With this in mind, I wonder about how this affects a hunting senario, where the first shot is almost always the one that counts. Armed with an understanding of this phenomenon, if you...

That would be a good way to test the theory. I have a chronograph. No reason that I couldn't run a few tests.

So, I've been noticing this on MOST, but not all of my springers. For instance, my .22 cal HW 97K is an exception. What I'm seeing is that after I've fired a dozen or show shots from a piston powered gun, the groups begin to tighten up. Now, I understand that this could just be due to me getting...

Yes, that's me. My name's Kevin. I'm glad that you found the vids helpful. The piston and breech seals must be ordered separately.

Diana Diana 34 T01 Tune Kit Recommendations

I'd highly recommend the ARH kits. As I understand it, the Vortek seals are prefered. It's pretty much a drop in kit so it's relatively simple to install. A spring compressor is advisable. Here's a link to a video on my channel that details the procedure. Part one: Part two:

Theoben Beeman Crow Mag / Theoben Eliminator Ser. # Location

I agree. Strange place for this kind of "wear". I've been scratching my head to try and understand what could explain it. I did buy it right because of these issues. Fortunately for me, I still have my hot salts bluing system from back when I was in the business of firearms restoration. That...

You just saved me a lot of time and money, my friend. This is great news and a wonderful bit of info. I can't thank enough for this. I've been repairing airguns for 40 years. I didn't even bother to tear the gun down when I learned (incorrectly, evidently) that I couldn't obtain the necessary...

Theoben Beeman Crow Mag / Theoben Eliminator Ser. # Location

Hello all, I recently purchased a Beeman Crow Mag. in .20 cal. at the Baldwinsville Airgun Show. I bought it at a fair price because of the fact that it needs a rebuild and because there's a rather large spot of bare metal on the left side of the receiver tube, just below the scope mount. (See...

Other The guns of Baldwinsville, Part 1

I have a Terrus with the exact, same issue. I own a Parrus, a Terrus, an LGV and an LGU. I've removed the safeties from all of them with the exception of the Terrus. Every single one of them had issues. On the LGU and LGV, I replaced the triggers with the Rowan Engineering replacement triggers...

    HW/Weihrauch Refinishing beech stocks...

Here's an HW85 that I did recently. I purchased this gun in a lot of two HW85s. This one had a damaged stock and a broken cocking shoe. This in NOT an example of my best work. This was a very rushed, 3 - day job. The stain that I used is a homebrew of various leather dies and pigments. The...
