My M-Rod Superlight with JSAR balanced valve will have a low first shot velocity if it has not been used in a while. Once I cycle it a couple of times the low velocity issue is gone for the day. But if I let the rifle sit for several days or so then it needs to be cycled. I can deal with that...

Clamp from Amazon and old photo tripod. The photo tripod is steady enough for my purpose but not rock solid as might be the case with a purpose made tripod. The clamp is 100% okay.
