Wal-Mart stop carrying Crosman 22 HP pellets??

The green square background around the ”.22 CAL” on the left side of the carton and the design on the tin give it away: this is the branding of the new Spain supply.

Spanish vs US made .22 CPHPs

Here’e my take on them, after doing a quick test at 24 meters. The new ones look a lot cleaner coming out of the box, I always had to wash and lube the old ones to not get your hands all dirty from loading them. The 2 target groups on the left are with the new ones, 2 on the right the old ones...

Spanish vs US made .22 CPHPs

Thanks for your elaborate comparison. However the results with the old CPHPs don’t look good by any standard at just 25 yards, so the gun doesn’t like them at all. (The bottomgroup AA’s look fine, so the gun and shooter are capable…) The result of the new CPHPs compared to the old ones is just...

whats the best way to make a dope card for my particular PCP gun and my ammo ?

Ok so to summarize your post: Your airgun is not regulated, so the FPS and thus FPE will drop off after some shots. (So not like PB ammo which will have the same FPS and FPE each and and every time you shoot. You do not have a chrony, so a ballistic app (Chairgun, Strelok etc) is of very...

DNT Zulus 312 - is there a way to mount with less or no offset?

My mount is only connected to the 2 most forward mounting holes. Stays solidly in place.

Interesting looking cocking lever, can you elaborate on it?

    Crosman pellets

True, but it takes time to set up a production line. At the same time (most) things will have gone up in price, (since a lot of resources/parts cannot be just dug up locally and thus have to be imported anyway) so people demand higher wages to compensate the higher cost of living, and inflation...

    Crosman pellets

No experience with those, I’ll check them out. I see at Pyramid they are the equivalent of $11.25 per 500 (buy4pay3deal) so not as cheap as the CPHPs, but still a lot better than the other brands… If it is true that the CPHPs production is shifted to Spain (where Gamo originates from) they...

    Umarex Notos cocking lever.

Nice find! Too bad it looks so ’clumsy’. I’d have preferred an FX Maverick type sidelever… (but maybe when anodised in black it looks less obrusive)

    Umarex Notos/Zulus HD

Pairing the DNT Zulus/Thermnight with a Notos is a bit of a PITA for 2 (or 3 if using aftermarket magazines) reasons: First: The small (halfcut for finger clearance around the sidelever) picarail behind the magazine cutout is too short to mount a digital scope mount, as it is much longer than a...

    Umarex Notos Accuracy Troubleshooting

Does the trigger (pull weight) vary by every couple of shots? If so, this is most likely due to a rotating hammerweight (which is held by the sear). This greatly affects accuracy in a (very!) detrimental way. Unfortunately I have no solution what can be done to fix (i.e. Stop) the rotation of...
