For me the gun I use is dictated by the environment. Home, low fpe and noise. Fine for rabbits and chippies.

No when I go to the range it’s with my pb guns. Air I shhot in my basement mostly. I do take the HW30 into the back yard, but the risk of being seen discourages me from doing it often.

We wore out two Food savers. Last year I bought an Avid Armor vac sealer. Worth every penny. Never thought of sealing pellets. Can’t see it sucking the air out of the tin. On the other hand, the Avid will crush a pop can….a tin should be more stout.

I think going to a higher tier for your first is a good idea. I went with an Air Arms for my first, specifically because there is nothing to tinker with. Then I bought less expensive guns for tinkering. Too many get wound up in which is “Better” when the focus should be on what is best for you.

Mine shoots most pellets well, but nothing can touch the AA 7.33 for accuracy. But I am not shooting 50 yards. I run wad cutters most of the time for under 30 yards. the 7.33 run 680fps. I am sure the 8 + are better in the wind. But if I am somewhere that I can shoot 50, it will be the 95.

I still have a partial white plastic box of Crosman pellets from the 80’s? They have started to show signs of oxidation. They may be from the 70’s when I had my 760.

I dont get to shoot that far very often, but the 7.33 are the most accurate in my 30. Kg is correct in that more zip of the 97 will help you. In perfect conditions the 30 is as accurate as any. But 50 is abo the prcact limit.
