    56" hard rifle case

I believe the Nanuk 995 series is 54” internal length. It’s been my flight case for RMAC/EBR for 4 years. Outstanding and bomb proof.

    Let's talk radar chronographs

I’ve been using a NateChrony V2. It is fantastic. Prior to that my primary was an FX radar that I really loved but as it ages it seems to miss more and more readings. The NateChrony has been 100% reliable and easy to use thus far (about 4 months in). Only downside to the NateChrony is that it...

Magpul PRS Gen 3 adjustable stock alternative?

The PRS Lite is pretty dope. I have been running one on my S510 for over a year and have no complaints. I have a Luth-AR as well (not sure what model but it is fully adjustable). It is not a robust as the Magpul but I definitely wouldn't categorize it is "junk". All of the adjustments can lock...

Airforce Ok Im ready for a .357 air rifle. Which one?

I won a Bulldog M357 at EBR in the raffle. It is my first big bore and I’m fairly impressed with it. The rear side lever is clunky, but the 5 shot magazine functions very well. The trigger is also surprisingly good and comes from the factory set at just a tick over 2 lbs.

    N/A Recommendations from the pro’s

Can’t go wrong with an HW. Ive also had a BSA super sport and Diana 34 that were also excellent and very affordable. A used 34 with a Vortek kit would be an amazing setup for under $300.

Any experiences with Hawke 2-7x32 ao IR?

The entire AMX series has glass etched whether IR or not. Vantage is as you described.

Do You Shoot At A "Range"?

Private property is absolutely the way to go. I’ve also been a member of several Rod and gun clubs and those are also very nice depending on the club. Typically it’s all older guys who don’t actually shoot more than once a year so I’m the only one there 90% of the time :) An actual shooting...

Any experiences with Hawke 2-7x32 ao IR?

Shoot, my mistake. I was talking about the 2-7x32 AIRMAX (whereas you were talking about the Vantage). I was referring to this model: https://us.hawkeoptics.com/airmax-2-7x32-amx.html Still glass etched reticle but lacks IR. For my Vantage scopes (not the 2-7 model but same series), the IR...

Any experiences with Hawke 2-7x32 ao IR?

Great scope. I have several. Love the AMX reticle Hawke puts in those. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick one up.

    Mythbusting Precision BR

I’ve been shooting competitively for over a decade now, and work full time in the firearms training industry. The people that fixate on gear are always subpar shooters. Having a Red Panda or FX won’t win you a match. Having a “sled” won’t win you a match. Whether it’s USPSA, IDPA, BR, PRS...

    Crazy Spiraling .177

I stopped shooting the 16gr Beasts because of this issue. Pretty sure it cost me a few $$$ at the 2023 PAC gunslinger. I’ve tried pushing them anywhere from 800 to 920 out of my AA S510 and I can’t get them to be consistently stable. At least 3 out of every 10 would spiral 13.43gr MRDs don’t...

    N/A Air Arms s510 magazine o-ring

22mm is ID. You can probably find a bunch on Amazon that’s not a crazy boutique size.

    N/A Air Arms s510 magazine o-ring

I replace them when they rip. Throw a dab of silicon oil on them once in a while and they should last years depending on how much shooting you do. Size is 22x1.5mm.

    Crosman Crosman Optimus

Generally speaking those Chinese break barrels will generate around 14-15 FPE in .177 and 16-17 FPE in .22. Velocity depends on weight of the pellet. Heavier pellets yield higher energy from the same power plant (more ‘efficient’) to a certain point. Your best bet with that class of springer...

Air Arms outsourcing production to India

It seems that no matter how clear Claire and AA try to be, people still misunderstand. I have no insider information whatsoever here, but from all of the public statements alone, the partnership with Precihole is 1) so that Air Arms can import and distribute Precihole rifles and 2) Precihole...
