    N/A How accurate is a TX200.

After thought. At 100-yards my TX200 shoots about like this:

    N/A How accurate is a TX200.

I run 4.52 head AA 10.3 Field Heavy sorted to 1/10th grain. AA 8.4 run well but are more affected by the wind. I run FAC spring with 3mm spacer. The 10.3 run in the low 800's. I shoot mostly at 50-yards. It shots under 1" to .50" pretty consistently. I have some videos, here are a couple.

    Rookie Mistakes?

For me the biggest mistake when I started shooting was thinking "better" equipment was going to improve my shooting more than practice. Semi-decent gear then practice and ammo.

Local Restrictions On Air Rifle Shooting

I am in southwestern IN. Not legal in the city and the neighbors would mind. I am 20-30 minutes from the range.

What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

I was out with my Avenge-X in .177 shooting 50 feet at the NRA A-17 Target. It has been tough to get out a lot this year so far, so I am a bit rusty!

    PCP questions.

The $6000+ rig is not trivial. I shoot mostly Lapua Center X, Long Range and Midas+ so I agree the ammo cost, even if you can find them, is not inconsequential either. However, with your accuracy request you will probably need to be shooting slugs. The cost savings, particularly as your find...

    PCP questions.

So about $4000 for the rifle and $1800 for the scope. If you go to PCP in .22 cal. or higher, and spend that type of money you could be pretty close to your goal. You will probably be shooting slugs though and not pellets.

    PCP questions.

My take is that unless you invest and tweak a lot you will not find this for .177. Q1.) On average how many shots do you get from a single charge? I understand cylinder size and pressure play a factor. A1.) It will vary greatly based on what you are using and doing. My Avenge-X in .177 will...

    N/A Springer bench rest contraptions

I have shot a number of ways with my TX200. Off a bag, rest or palm rested bag it shoots well. Switching shifts thing, but sticking with one it has to do with shooter consistency for me.

    Avenge x 25 cal

I like how the wood rides a bench compared to the synthetic.

    Avenge x 25 cal

I ended up replacing my synthetic stock with the wood one as well. It was just a better fit for me and my shooting style.

    Question for Springer shooters

I like Vortex. They are all springer rated. I run, generally, a Diamondback 6 to 24 on my TX200. It has been there for over a year with no issues.

Cool! Nice shooting. I really find my Avenge-X (.177) nice.
