I happen to be at Home Depot and the 5/8" flare fit perfectly with the quick connect. So, would that make sense that it's close to G5/8, but not an exact match?

Thanks, I don't think this will fit; I believe the fill has a check valve that only allows air to enter and not exit. The adapter I'm looking for is one that fits the quick connect, which is what I'm trying to confirm size on.

Thanks, I actually have one of those on order (before they removed) and hopefully will get it in a month or so. In the meantime, I was looking to use the G5/8 adapter, it didn't work with the quick fill threads. So, I'm wondering if G5/8 is correct?

I posted in an older thread about Scott SCBA thread size (no pun intended) for the quick connect, but thought I'd post here since it's more recent. I purchased this to replace the quick connect valved screwed into the tank, but could only get it about half a turn before it wouldn't screw down...

I got this from Amazon and when I tried to install into the valve body where the quick disconnect was, the threads were to too large. It basically allowed a half turn before it wouldn’t screw in anymore. Is this an issue with the product or did I get the wrong size? https://a.co/d/dBpSCZA
