New to pcp first 9L tank fill, GX CS4

I have been filling two 30 minute and three 45 min SCBA tanks all the way to 4500 psi for over a year now and my CS4 is running as well as the day I put it into service with nothing more than the required grease knob turning when the hours are reached. I have a large "orange" secondary water...

Hatsan Are there any high capacity 22 mags for the Jet II?

I was going to get rid of my 22 Jet but decided to keep it. Are there any high capacity mags made for it? My son lost one of the two mags I had for it and would prefer higher round count. Also is $15 the best price going for a factory one in 22 cal?

    Umarex Notos Magazine problem

My mags from Carm / Darko work flawlessly. I get the right side inserting version so I can use a side focus wheel. My factory mags with the metal shim fix are also jam proof, but definitely not as smooth as the Carm mags.

    Umarex Notos Magazine problem

My fix only solves the 2nd pellet being dragged back out of the magazine. Sorry I didn't make that more clear. I have never had any failures to feed going in, but lots of jams caused by pellets being pulled backwards.

    Umarex Notos Magazine problem

Maybe I should watch your video again. What I got the first time was that the round going in was jamming which is different from my problem with it pulling the 2nd pellet partially back out of the magazine when caulking it to load the next one. Do the Firewalker mags work with the polymags? I...

    Umarex Notos Magazine problem

Yup, it is too big and causes the different jamming problem that I had with all of my factory Notos mags. Had I known they would do this I would have not purchased a dozen of them. But, once I owned them I wanted to make them work! At my hourly rate then ended up being $75 magazines. It is like...

    Umarex Notos Magazine problem

Great video and thanks for posting it! Also excellent failure analysis figuring out the issue with the probe. I was able to get all my factory Notos magazines to work perfectly with any pellets I tried over a year ago by adding a small cover extension as shown in the photo below. Copy and...

What Red Dot scope is your favorite and why.

I have replaced all my Aimpoints, EOTechs, Trijicons and whatever else on my nicer guns with Holosun micro red dots. I prefer the fully enclosed versions with a solar panel. I still use a few sub $50 red dots on super cheap airguns and 22s as it is hard to justify a $180 sight on a $90 gun. lol

My indoor 10yrd range has been established!

Those are HEVC videos. I have never seen that type before, but if you want to view it, you will need to download an extension for most browsers.

    Plumbing lead

Yikes! A good friend of mine who was an amazing gunsmith and antique firearm restorationist was permanently blinded by a similar incident but it was hot bluing salts, not molten lead. An investigation after the fact found a foreign object inside the tube magazine of the gun. IIRC He had...

    Is it rude to barter?

Good observation. Some people feel that they simply cannot pay asking price. A long time friend of mine, when asked for a lower price on a bid he presented to a customer would often scratch out the bid price and write down a price significantly higher! One lady laughed and said, OK, good joke...

    Is it rude to barter?

I would say yes it would be rude to ask for a lower price if they specifically state in their ad that they will not entertain lower priced offers or if the price is "firm". If there is no reference of not wanting to get lower priced offers then ask away in my opinion. Just don't offer half of...

    pirateship.com

I talked to customer service on PirateShip.com and they said that as long as it is "...not a real firearm" and that any air cylinders / tanks are empty, you can ship airguns / BB guns using PirateShip.com. They indicated that the word "gun" on their prohibited list refers to firearms.

    Umarex 30 slugs failure

Having an airgun smith throat it with a reamer on a lathe is recommended. Unless you have some experience using the method I posted, you can mess up the throat pretty easily.

Isn't that policy page for UPS not for UPS subcontractors? It seems clear that non licensees cannot ship firearms through UPS at all. I never could find the no airguns policy on PirateShip.com but I am still looking. I will chat with them today if I can't find it.

Those rules on the link to UPS looks like they applies to shipping stuff via the UPS website as well. My understanding from just reading them is that the only people who are allowed to ship guns / firearms through UPS are those licensed to sell guns etc. etc. per the rules. It isn't just with...

    March Optics guys chime in....

Everyone I have talked to that owns or has owned an NX8 in any magnification range was not happy with the IQ. Several said they got rid of them and replaced theirs with a March. I have never even looked through an NX8, but that many people not liking them makes them sound like they are not a...
