The serial number on my .22 Discovery is 412120046. I believe this is April 2012.

Finally got my Discovery back together. I ported the valve. Radiused the inlet hole and exhaust. I opened up the valve and barrel to .177" and installed a .177" transfer port. I put in a Huma regulator and plenum. Now it has no gauge, just like my 3622 Crosman. After tuning, it gets 23, 31ft/lb...

    Crosman Crosman 3622 upgrades

The rifle is tuned very well, giving me 20 shots between 17.5 and 18 ft/lbs. The next 10 shots, though slower and slower, were still decent. I am new (two years in) to airgunning, but it is a fun hobby for me and less expensive than cars. My goal is 20 shots with as much power as I can wring out...

I am pretty sure that as soon as you get two Crosmans, they start breeding. Just like rabbits. I have seven now and one is pregnant. they also can crossbreed easily with Benjamins.

Ok, taking some advice, I am going to get a hammer spring adjuster. I am guessing that if it fits a 2240, it will fit a Discovery. Is this correct? Right now I am eyeballing this one.

    Crosman Crosman 3622 upgrades

There are indents or crimps at the back of the air tube that keep it from moving rearward. I think the forward trigger screw protrudes into a slot or ring turned into the front of the valve. I am not planning on going over 2,000 p.s.i. with this rifle. I just bought a Discovery for that. Maybe...

I haven't found suitable jets, but I thought I would give you credit for the shot group sticker on the rifle idea! I am looking for a better camera.

    Crosman Crosman 3622 upgrades

I was able to break into the Bushnell scope and play with the objective lens adjustment. It now focuses well from 15 to 50 yards and is moved to the 3622. Magnum Air Power trigger group installed. I still want to add a third adjustment screw. The weight is now 4lbs. 15.7 oz. with scope, aluminum...

My discovery .22 now has a Magnum Air Power trigger. I may add a third adjustment screw and polish the hammer interface. A Buck-Rail moderator adaptor made for the 3622 works on the discovery. It just needs a little clearance to fit the Discovery fill cap. Now I need some more parts from Buck-Rail!

I just bought two rifles. I couldn't decide which I liked better, so I bought them both. One new, one used. Where is the serial number located?

Just noticed your screen name. I have made many squirrels silent. I think I have just the tool now!

Exactly why I like this rifle. Three internal O-rings, and one on probe. One seal on transfer port. simple design and simple repair. The parts support that still exists is great. I will try to fit the Buck-Rail silencer adaptor made for the 3622. , to see if that is an option. too tired tonight...

Can you believe this rifle leaks? I want to weigh the individual parts and file the specs in my airgun files. An aluminum breech saves a surprising amount of weight, but I forgot to file the info properly, so I must weigh again. I really like a lightweight rifle. Pyramid Air has 600mm...

I figured so much. I paid $300 for the package, and I want the pump as a back up. I can buy a pump new for $50, so that is basically what it is worth to me. I will probably just keep it as I don't own any other .177 caliber.

I will message you when I get it swapped out. The plastic triggers are great when polished, bend the safety/sear spring, replace the trigger return spring with a much lighter version, and add a screw to limit the intermediate linkage. This makes them a two stage with a clean break. I did all of...

We have an airgun show scheduled in Greenfield, Indiana on April 12th. I may try to sell some of my other guns there to fund this project. https://indianaairgunshow.com/? How much could I ask for a new old stock .177 Discovery still in original packaging?

I picked up a rifle today. Bushnell Sportview scope. I think it is 4 power with paralax good at about 30 yards. Not sure what kind of wood the stock is made from. I ordered two triggers from Magnum Air Power. One for this rifle and one for my 3622.
