    PCP Rifles for 100 Yards+

Not knowing what "you can afford" I would recommend a Benjamin Marauder or other Benjamin long rifles (Cayden tube or Kratos or Gunnar bottle) The Marauder is the bench mark for accuracy in rifles in that price range. Parts accessibility and professional smithing are readily available if...

N/A Getting the best of each PCP.

Lighter is better for scopes and rings IMO. I use single screw BKL dovetail rings on almost all of my rifles. I like smaller, lighter scopes from Hawke and Optisan and I really like the layout of the reticles. I have a couple of Arken scopes for a .25 cal FX and a .30 cal Paradigm which use...

Daystate pulsar VS Daystate Air Wolf? Which would you pick

I already own an Airwolf and a Huntsman, but don't own a Daystate bull pup yet, so I would probably pick the Pulsar. I have two long rifle BSAs and a Defiant bullpup, and enjoy them all. So yeah, I would get the Pulsar.

How important is perfect level your scope to your gun?

I first level my tripod with its built in centering bubble level then clamp down the rifle just enough to hold it. I then level the rifle by placing a level across a square surface on the receiver and clamp it down tight. Finally, I level the scope either with a level set on top the turret cap...

There are plenty of hobbies that cost alot of money to pursue. To each his own and according to his budget.

FX Newby starting the search for a precision air rifle.

The March scope on a non-competition air rifle is pure indulgence. Doesn't add anything to the end results (accuracy) of my type of shooting, but it looks cool on a nice Daystate and I have plenty of very nice PB's (like a custom 7x57 Mauser) on which it also looks fabulous with it mounted, and...

EDgun Edgun Leshy 2 in Austria

Molec, I live in Spain and if I was to have any question about PCPs I would just go down to the local police station and ask there. I'll bet there is someone there who speaks English. Or just find a buddy who can help you translate. My wife is Spanish so I have a built in translator for the...

FX Newby starting the search for a precision air rifle.

The quality of all three of the above rifles is "heirloom' and will last and last. You can pass these down to your kids or grand kids. You can probably tell I am a walnut and steel traditionalist in my rifles. I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps so got my fill of black plastic rifles! ha ha...
