You can use cinder blocks but you would need to put some plywood in front so you don't break them with misses. I like railroad ties, they are much more durable, but they won't satisfy the "code police"

They are all nice, so it's going to be tough. Have you considered the Pathfinder? It's still small but gives you a bottle for more shots, and the power selector would be very nice for what you are trying to do.

Shoot heavier pellets, that will get the speed down and keep accuracy. With 30 fpe you should be using a minimum of 18g pellets.

I wish I had a basement for bad weather, my garage is a singe car garage so it's only 7 yards deep. I can shoot from the garage to the targets in the backyard but it gets mighty cold with that door open. BTW I have destroyed my hearing by shooting PB's early in life with no hearing protection...

Being able to shoot off my patio, don't have to wear hearing protection and not adding up how much each shot cost like I do with my PBs.

The HW45 is a spring piston with lots of recoil and very hard to shoot accurately, I have one in .22 cal. The HW75 is the single stroke pneumatic, and shoots lights out, I have the HW40 which has the same power plant but in a composite frame.

I'm surprised that there is that much difference in sound, mine sounds almost the same on full power as it is on low power, but it's not the magnum. I'm running 119 bar shooting 18's at 840 fps.
