Well, I have a large airgun with only 7,5 Joules. Perfect balance for stable shooting at 10 meters. Power and size does not matter. The Vixen Long has 39Joule in .22, more than enough for most jobs. And great dimensions.

Hi Wenn you take out the magazine, hold the cocking handle/pellet pusher back and pull the trigger. You can take the cocking handle foreward and release the spring. The cocking handle is then in the foreward position and there is no hammer spring tension left. Do not know how to explain...
