You can use m3 on mk1 not the other way unless you change the valve pin

I put the bottle back on my mk1 Gassed it back up, while still hooked to fill tank I unscrewed the bottle. The valve decided to seal up. Best I can figure it needed to seat the valve pin under pressure. Seems to be working properly now. Tested it for leak nothing found Great mystery

I degassed it to change the gauge last spring. Upon regassing its old orings gave up. So it got a total reseal. And I’ve been chasing this leak ever since. I was about to loose my mind. Can’t believe it’s the new gauge. It just hit me this morning to balloon it.

After deciding to run over it with a bulldozer and toss it in a large fire I did some soul searching. This all started with changing the tank pressure gauge. Is it possible the gauge itself to leak? I put a balloon on it this morning.

Well I suppose that would do it but I’ll try and save that for the last ditch effort

Not at all. If there were any issues it would be the first few thousandths of an inch where the pellet leaves the barrel at the crown. Now that being said any moderator can cause issues when the pellet goes through a baffle. I’ve not seen it in an air rifle, typically the holes are large enough...
