What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

I saw this model in my email, I'm thinking hard to order one. Have you seen any reviews?

Bought a cheap Chinese B1 Air Rifle.

Probably so, but you probably paid what? $19 for it? Some basic hand tools/files, a little buffing etc could have probably improved it some.

Bought a cheap Chinese B1 Air Rifle.

They are quite solid rifles and well built for such a low cost. Besides that they are a training tool and fairly accurate. I have seen a couple of these that have seen hard use for at least 40 years or more.

Bought a cheap Chinese B1 Air Rifle.

Of course I didn't! Probably didn't take it so seriously at the time, considering the price. I do remember it was pretty much as though I had pulled the trigger on a 22LR. I like to see replies to my threads, even if they're over a year old. My son has grown so much now he's up to shooting...

    HW/Weihrauch Talk me into a Weihrauch HW100

I think the Taipan you ordered was a great choice. Pretty potent to boot.

    HW/Weihrauch Talk me into a Weihrauch HW100

Did you ever pick up one? I've wanted one for a while now, but never bit...And spent my budget on a Caiman and Daystate Huntsman Revere. The Daystate is fairly similar to a HW 100, but the HW's mag is far superior. I personally like the older style standard HW 100 Walnut stock a bit more...

AirMaks Arms Caiman X 5 month review

Jim I also bought a Caiman last year when UA was having the clearance sale. A 25cal standard Caiman w/wood stock. Just like you I also had some teething issues with it. First problem I had was that I received my Caiman missing the 2 main cap scews and cups that hold the gun together! lol...

    Weaver CT6 on a springer?

I like that reply! Truth is though like just about anything else that was ever well made or something I like, it's a discontinued model. If it can handle a springer I'll mount it up. If not, I guess it can go on a CZ! I don't know if it's an etched plate reticle or not, some of those Light...

    Weaver CT6 on a springer?

I found an idle Weaver CT6 Japanese made scope when cleaning out the storefront at my old shop. Microtrac with a fine crosshair w/dot and AO. Im wondering if anyone here has used one of these on a springer? Any chance it would hold up?

    FWB FWB SPORT ALERT!

Well just my luck I guess... In Sept of 22 I didn't even know the FWB Sport existed...I was a couple months late to the party?

    FWB FWB SPORT ALERT!

Yeah tha Yeah it doesn't feel like much of a sale. I feel like they were $100 more a year ago. I thought to buy one last year when they had a big sale on most everything else, but they didn't mark these sports down and when I called they declined to offer any sales on them any time soon...So...

    FWB FWB SPORT ALERT!

How do you know they only have 4? Did a sales rep confirm it? I wavered for a year or so on ordering one, so I broke down yesterday and placed an order. Still showing in stock. I wonder if the truth is that they have 85 in the back room and capped the sale to 10 or 12? The site allowed me...

    Hand Pumping PCP?

How come more people in US aren't into small game eradication hunt (rats etc).

Well I think you're a little biased in this conversation, considering you're in the hunting club/land leasing business...Some might even say you're a minor part of the problem? The world has changed, and somewhat for the worse. If you had read my posts you would have seen that I was pointing...

How come more people in US aren't into small game eradication hunt (rats etc).

You're in CO. I'm in Ohio Appalachia. CO is still somewhat of an "empty" state. CO is over 2x the size of Ohio and your population is less than half of ours. I guess the next reply will be a forum member in Nunavut who will inform me that the seal hunting is better than it's ever been and...

    Loss of pressure on Caiman?

I'm actually thinking this Caiman is a stellar airgun in spite of my minor setbacks. (Came missing bolts and cups that hold the upper to lower and the blown ring on the first charge). UA sent the hardware that was missing right away for free and an o ring might set me back a quarter..... If...

    Loss of pressure on Caiman?

I'm not too impressed with my Hill. It's a Mk5. I bought it used from a member here. If I'd bought it new I'd probably return it. I think it's just assembled in UK of Chinese origin parts. I found it pretty easy to use as a hand pump though. A workout of sorts, but I've always been in...

    Loss of pressure on Caiman?

I'd say from what little shooting I've been able to do, I love the airgun. It's accurate and pretty hard hitting. I've always had a little affection for Czechnology. I found a 2020 mfg date (8/2020) on my Caiman. Bought it in new April this year. I don't know if it's held pressure since...

    Loss of pressure on Caiman?

I called UA. they told me one thing I didn't realize. The Caiman has to be cocked to charge from zero. That explains why it wouldn't charge up any after 50 pumps... They suggested I try to use a little soapy water and look for the leak and/or send it back and they could do it. I'd hate to...
