When is it a "good time" to buy an airgun?

I finally decided on the first airgun I'd like to get for my son and myself, a Beeman R9 (until I change my mind yet again...) Since we are getting close to the holiday season and black Friday, should I pull the trigger now? or should I wait another month for better prices? thanks, -z

HW50S or R9 for a left handed shooter?

Thanks, AoA does indeed seem to have a very good price on the HW95, and I could not find anyone else selling it. however, AoA seem to have fairly bad rating on several internet sites, such as reseller rating, etc. makes me very hesitant to make my first purchase with them... -z

HW50S or R9 for a left handed shooter?

I need help deciding between the HW50S and the R9 for my 15 years old son and myself. Based on your recommendations, I was all set to go with the HW50S, however, just read that the HW50S stock is not quite ambidextrous... My son is LH, I am RH, so I would like an ambi stock so we can both...

Marauder vs Talon vs 850 vs RWS 48?

Thank you all so much, And I thought you guys would make it easier for me :-) Instead, I am now going to research all the alternatives you gave me... I believe that instead of starting by stating my requirements, when I don't even know what I don't know, I should have stated my motivations...

Marauder vs Talon vs 850 vs RWS 48?

I just realized that of neither the Marauder (shroud spins off) nor the Coyote (silencer) can easily accommodate front sights. so now back to taking a closer look at the AirForce Talon SS which has a rail at the front. yet trigger might not be as good as the other two... on the other hand...

Marauder vs Talon vs 850 vs RWS 48?

Thank you all. I believe that I've narrowed down my selection to either the Benjamin Marauder or the Gamo Coyote thanks to the post above, I some how missed it (till I change my mind yet again...) The Coyote seems to be as accurate as the Marauder, good trigger, and lighter weight. One poster...

Marauder vs Talon vs 850 vs RWS 48?

Planning to buy my first air rifle, looking for some advice. if all goes well, I will probably end up with more than one, but need a first one... What I am looking for in a gun is what I would call "fun target shooting", not hunting, not competitions (at least not yet), and a high probability...
