    N/A How to determine FPS

Yes, even for the breakbarrels, at least to record what holds and pellets I've tried. Very quickly I realized I'd forget things. I use a lab type notebook with gridded pages; office max/depot/staples has them, soft-bound. If I have to go back and look something up, I also record it in a table...

Gamo De tuning Gas spring Breakbarrel.

Do you mean the piston seal, so it doesn't reach as far to the end of the cylinder, so as to have less of a "compression ratio"? If so, I think ihe piston would want to bottom out no matter what. Or do you mean to modify the actual gas ram itself?

When I sell stuff, I give my wife the money. She's OK with that.

Zan .30 lead free pellets quick review

I didn't know anyone made an unleaded .30 projectile; have to give them a try. Thanks! Yes, I reuse uneaded .25s and some .22s all the time for practice and plinking. I collect them from a rag box trap.

    Airforce Airforce talonp hammer change

If you try to go out the breech end you have to get everything past the trigger sear and auto-safety tab, and think of all those spring coils getting hung up on the sear. I found it to be easier to set the power wheel low, like #1, to reduce preload to the spring, remove the barrel screws...

How many AGN members make their own slugs

I shoot unleaded projecticles exclusively so I _have_ to cast if I want anything beyond the meager offerings in .25 and .22. The .177 selection isn't bad, and I see now that Zan makes some slugs that I should try... But I find casting fun, almost a separate hobby to shooting, and as tin metal...

Small + QUIET to kill rats at close range ?*?

I'd start with why there are so many rats. They need food and shelter. Shooting them is at least secondary, unless your goal is to have targets to shoot at.

Do you ever get fed up with Airguns?

Aww, he'll be back. Otherwise we'd miss him.

Welcome! How is that Ready Hour food? Does it help you get through the long Maine winter?

    N/A Shooting indoors

One could shoot unleaded ammo indoors, like BBs and the tin pellets. Then there is no lead to contain.

    HW/Weihrauch Using a peep sight

I hear one eye open lets in less light than two open, for some reason, but one can confirm it by looking at something in low light. And one gets better peripheral vision or "situational awareness" with two eyes open. But I haven't heard that one open is more or less accurate than two open.

Umarex Please share your PRONE position shooting techniques for springers...

Take a look at the HFT shooters, like this Gary Chillingworth: As I understand it, they have both the prone position and a springer class in competition. If anyone has figured out how to shoot a springer accurately from prone, it would be those guys.

Projectiles 0.250 NOE boat tail slug mold $80.

For sale is a lightly used NOE 250-41-FN-BK2 2 Cavity BT, that's the two cavity mold in aluminum, no hollow point. https://noebulletmolds.com/site/shop/bullet-moulds/251/250-41-fn-bk2/250-41-fn-bk2-2-cavity-bt/ I've been casting in tin metal so it really hasn't seen much heat either. I'm selling...

How do you maximize your shooting time in the field?

Thanks, a checklist and getting it all in a pile the night before is way better than forgetting something important far from home.

Same The Diana two fifty plot thickens! I got mine early 2020 from Pyramyd, as a refurb, so maybe a 2019 model?

Diana Diana mod. 250 (two fifty) .177 cal. air rifle

A nitro piston is new; the 250 I got is definitely a coil spring. I have a couple extra coils to prove it :) Moe, you mentioned the cocking force, how many pivot points do you see in the linkage? There is one at the barrel and one inside the receiver where it meets the piston, but is there an...
