    Beeman Beeman magazine’s

I finally found spare mags for the .25 caliber on ebay. Shipped price is same as Beeman would have charged. But Beeman doesn't even list that rifle in that caliber or the mags anymore - so no idea what's going on with that.

    Beeman Beeman magazine’s

Well, I can say the UX Gauntlet mags won't work - too thick. Won't even be able to sand down the mag back to make it thin enough. Other than that, I believe it would have. Beeman 1359 25cal mag is right at 0.585" thick. Thickness varies up to about 0.592" as I move the caliper around checking...

Anyone know where to source Beeman 1359 (25 cal) magazines? Or an equivalent?

    Bottle to recharge PCP

Been poking around, and found this - Bottle, any reason that won't work for an Umarex Gauntlet or Umarex Notos for field refills? Capacity is about 122 CI for the bottle. Any warning flags about the mfg? NOT DOT approved - so nobody is going to fill it - I've got my own compressor so...

Umarex Notos rear sight set screw hex key size

Trying to install the rear sight on my Notos - but for the life of me can't seem to get the correct hex key size for the set screws. I'm assuming they are probably metric... What size are they?

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

Lord have mercy - hope this is the last item... Put drop or two of oil on bottle o-ring, and on probe tip and cocked a couple times to work it in. I understood Gauntlet 1 was max of 3000psi - but gauge on rifle shows green to 4500psi. Someone install the wrong gauge? I've only filled it to...

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

I've called Pyramyd, and they say that is normal on the Gauntlet. Obviously - once pressurized it should be tight - still not sure air won't leak with it - but we'll see.

    Other Purchasing an SCBA bottle

Gotta watch 231 in "big" cases - or even little cases. Too easy to double charge one if someone walks in with those off-the-wall questions and interrupts your workflow. Not a huge fan of Lee dippers either...

    Other Purchasing an SCBA bottle

Ok - pondering a bit more - I've wondered about using a paintball refill bottle. Most I've seen will require a hose kit, but wondering about something along these lines: Contestant_1 I'm not finding a rating for PSI on that one... Contestant_2 Contestant_3 Just curious about something...

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

Hopefully enough see this - I got my replacement Gauntlet, and inspecting it - the air bottle is loose. Took handguard off, and the bottle will spin about 1/3 of a turn more before it's basically "tight". But then - the air gauge and fill port won't line up, and the handguard cannot be put...

    Other Purchasing an SCBA bottle

Yup - thought of that already - reason why I made this post

    Other Purchasing an SCBA bottle

NO! I like to see alternative ideas. Those things give me other ideas and potential questions to ask. I'm new to this - just know I WILL want a tank, something that could give me 2-3 fills. I think that tank might give me that capability for the rifle(s) I have (all 3000psi, small bottles...

    Other Purchasing an SCBA bottle

Question - would you buy an SCBA bottle from this ebay vendor? SCBA bottle I'm thinking of getting a bottle for spot refills "in the field". So want something relatively light, and safe.

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

Thanks all. Final question - if you have a leak - is the old soapy water in a spray bottle best method to find the location of the leak?

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

I noticed the sling issue, but I hadn't heard about the mags jamming. .22, .177 or other caliber?

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

I obviously haven't shot it yet, but I would agree on the weight and length. Cocking the bolt seems to be an issue as well. I need to get a sling for it which will help make it more useful

Umarex New Umarex Gauntlet V1 depressurizing in a week

I'm new to this stuff (air rifles/PCP/etc). Been a centerfire/rimfire guy for a tad over 60 years (dad started me when I was 3 - I don't remember it, but I don't doubt it). So wasn't sure - but just wanted to make the distinction. Have seen several negative reviews of the V2, so... 'V1'. ;)

Update Contacted Pyramydair about it - it was within the return/exchange period. I returned it, asked for an exchange, and today got an email with the tracking number for the replacement. Couldn't ask for more at this point
