Delrin spacers may be a good replacement for those flimsy little wagon wheel spacers, ain't gonna fix the cracks in the .177 liners. If FX totally stopped making .177's I may gather a little respect for them.

Look at the pictures earlier in this thread & Google "FX Dreamline POI shifts"; the spacers first of all move down the liner towards the breech; they also tilt, so the play is uneven. I have also built a ton of guns, including pcp (see "home made pcp receiver" elsewhere on this forum. I do not...

If you indeed own a Dreamilne .177 then it for sure has at least one of the latent defects, ie. the flimsy liner spacers. It very likely has a cracked liner as well. The issues will manifest themsleves in time, perhaps then you will read this thread in its entirety & see just how common it is &...

Moved on looong ago & wasn't bitching at all, another member revived the post & incorrectly stated that the issue was caused by the end user messing with the gun. As long as folk revive the post I will point out the latent defect with the FX Dreamline to help other forum members.

FX Dreamline .177 needs a barrel, end of story. If you toss the noodle in the trash & fit a steel barrel with 5/8" OD you will have no further issues. Earlier on I posted about my CZ457: same story with every 22lr I have ever owned, the gun with a decent barrel shoots.

User error? End user changed something? All end user did was pay good money for a brand new gun, only to find out that after a few shots the flimsy little plastic wagon wheel spacers that center the noodle (also known as a liner, but never called a barrrel, because that it is not) in the shroud...
