    I have two pump pistols and the instructions of each say leave at least one pump before storage. Now I have just purchased a Crosman 140 and feel I should pump it at least once prior to placing it in the closet. What is recommended for the 140? Should it have some air in it before storage?

    I finally was able to remove the brass piece and installed a new cup. Prior to removal I heated some Canola oil in the microwave and soaked the bushing and rod in the oil and it is my belief that it helps in the removal.
