    POI shift ?

Thanks friend. I will keep that in mind the next time I set-up my targets. I have tested my first shot velocity from both by PCP's and I am very lucky to have them tuned really well. The Taipan shoots the H&N 25 grain slugs at 940fps and the FX Wildcat shoots the 44.75 grain JSB's at 895 fps...

    POI shift ?

I experienced POI shift from both of my PCP’s. Do keep in mind that I shoot from my room where temperature is rather consistent (within 68-72F). Outside temperature however is always changing and so is wind speed and direction. The target I zero my PCP’s is 45 yards from my room window. Every...

    FX FX Impact trigger job

i most certainly will do that. I have tried adjusting the trigger and never got it to a point of satisfaction. It was either too light and unsafe or the second stage has creep.

    FX FX Impact trigger job

Can the same be applied to my Wildcat MK3? Or they are completely different?

A place to plank in Fairfax, VA or Northern VA?

NRA range in Fairfax allows pellet/airguns. Also check out Izaak Walton park in Centreville. They certainly allow powder burners but is worth checking out and ask if they allows airguns as well.

Kalibrgun Cricket tactical 2 60 22 caliber with slugs

If you can try the .218 head size in both weights. I get the feeling a tighter slug might get your groups to become smaller.

    FX Trigger Adjustment Dry Fire

Is it okay to fire my FX Wildcat without a pellet while adjusting the trigger? Or am I damaging the gun because there is no pellet creating some back pressure?

As you know each barrel is different so what works for me might not work for you. Anyhow, the H&N 25gr (.218 head size) @ 940 fps and ZAN 25.5gr (.218 head size) @ 905fps shoot a group that I can cover with a penny @ 50 yds. My maximum range I have shot the H&N is 75 yds and have had good luck...

My .22 Long 700mm is pushing 25 gr H&N slugs (.218 head size) at 940. Reg is set at 135bar. Same tune pushes the 25.5 grain Zan at 905fps average. Keep in mind slugs of same weight and headsize but from different manufacturers can vary in speed because of the surface area in contact with the barrel.

I like slugs because i can take long shots without wind and gravity affecting them as much unlike pellets. I was able to get the H&N 25gr slugs for .07 cents a piece shipped. I stocked up so I have around 8400 in stock. Mine shoots 25.5gr Zan’s really well too but they cost more. So yea, I got...

That's fantastic! Mine is tuned for slugs and unlike some folks who have struggled to find a slug that shoots well in their PCP, mine has been nothing short of phenomenal with H&N slugs. I don't take credit for it because it is tuned by Derrick Wall.

I have a Vet 2 LR 700mm. Its tuned to shoot H&N .218 (25gr) right around 940fps. Yesterday I took a what I would consider a cold barrel shot ( gun was sitting for more than 24hrs without being shot) at a measured 75 yards. Had to take a HOSP and it got smacked right where I had aimed. Honestly...

FX Fx wilcat mk3 bt 700 mm set 2 regulators

Hey @alcuerna I would recommend you watch this entire video to truly get a solid understanding of tuning your FX Wildcat. However, if you want to skip, go to the 1hr and 4 minute mark and he talks about adjusting the regulators. The example in his video is of a FX Maverick but it works the...
