So I’ve searched and searched previous threads for a tune for my impact and haven’t found what I’m looking for. I have a .22 cal impact, 600mm with a heavy slug liner. Everything else is stock. I plan on shooting 31.2 NSA slugs. All the tunes I’m finding are for rifles that have power slug kits...

I see both schools of thought here and would rather have cheap, replaceable cotton filters take the brunt of collecting moisture and oil.

Thank you for the advice about the filter. This leads me to a follow up question. The blue filter has an internal cartridge with the beads. It also has an oring that seals so air can’t creep around the cartridge. It has to go through the cartridge. Am I still ok I’m the horizontal position...

That’s great info. I appreciate it. I saw a few setups with both the gold and copper colored filters. I think my blue one is same as your gold one. Are you using that as is or did you add more silica gel beads instead of the charcoal? Thank you!!

Yeah I should have been more specific and said heavier slugs. Ultimately my goal is 100-200 yd shooting with heavier slugs so I will need that heavy liner to stabilize those heavier slugs. Are you shooting the lighter .22 slugs in the impact?

Have you talked to him about a custom order? He may do it if you order enough. They swage all their larger slugs on Corbin Hydro Presses and making it a touch shorter (and lighter, of course) shouldn’t be a big deal. Not sure how it would effect the flight of the slug, but it may be worth...
