Thanks!!! Yes I will 100% make sure to empty out the air. Can this be done by just turning the gauge - same way I released the air from 4K to 2k? Or do I need to de-gas using the tool from the back of the gun?

I over filled it by mistake Big error totally an accident I thought the red was still ok but to just be careful when filling I made a stupid assumption I don’t use often so I screwed up

Ok - got home and it was loaded to right below 4000 bad I drained it per your feedback and got it to 2000 Tightened it up still no fire action I guess I damaged something Is this worth repairing or take my loss? Lesson learned

You all sound quite knowledgeable - can you further explain that concept of the hammer not having enough force? If it was over filled I would have thought there would be too much force. How does the hammer mechanism work?

Yea it is holding pressure Actually it’s slightly over 3,000 not 4,000

Hi All I have a Gamo Urban .22 Filled to about 4,000 psi The gun won’t fire with any air. The trigger works and firing bolt move to the correct position - after pulling trigger but there is no loud boom and no pressure from the air portion of the gun Any ideas?
