I wonder if a larger, heavy duty cylinder with say, a 5 foot long, horizontal bar for extra torque/leverage would be feasible. Something similar to a hydraulic floor jack pump is what I envision. More volume, less strokes and easier to pump. Come-on DIYers...build this!
