Looking at buying my first PCP

Thank for the info. The 700 fps is only on anything over .177. If it exceeds the 700 fps in the specs, it doesn't matter if you can tune it down. The law is ridiculous, I can order a .22, .25 or .30 as long as it's 700 fps or under, without having to register it. I'll probably just register one...

Looking at buying my first PCP

No restrictions on .177. It's any caliber over .18 and 700 fps. So I can order a .22 if it's 700 or below. I ordered .30 cal a few years back. The Umarex is 700 fps, in .22, so I can order it, without any issues. I can order anything, but I think it's ignorant registering a pellet rifle as a...

Looking at buying my first PCP

I've looked at them, they are decent. The only problem I have, in my state, it can't be over 700 fps, if it's over .177. They consider it a firearm. I have a FOID card, it's just more of a inconvenience, getting it to a licensed dealer. If I do decide to go that route, plenty of choices for...

Daisy Daisy 880 - at 10 meters, standing offhand

I've seen these previously, and that is definitely a great price. I mainly bought the 880 to see, why so many people like them. I understand now. My thinking was, why do so many people like a cheap, plastic gun? I grew up with cheap guns as a kid, and never remember them being that accurate. I...

Daisy Daisy 880 - at 10 meters, standing offhand

I recently bought an 880, and I was surprised as well, at the groups at 10 yards. I shot off shooting sticks in my basement, just for the heck of it. I had one that was a tad outside, but I'm positive if i could hold it perfect every time, I think I could get 5 shots in the same hole. These...

Illinois Law Question: Propelling .177 Cal. Pellets Over 700 FPS

I live in IL, the law is anything over .18 cal. and 700 fps is considered a firearm. A .177 is not over .18 and there are no regulations on a .177. You can literally order a .30 cal. to your door, if it's under 700 fps. You can place an order with an airgun company, it will tell you restricted...

I fully understand, what you are saying pertaining to this circumstance. I'm speaking of their service as a whole, I've never had to deal with their customer service. I seems to be a mix of some satisfied, and some who don't want to deal with them. I also understand this happens with just about...

Looking at buying my first PCP

Umarex, seems to have bad customer service, that's the issue I would have with them. I've personally never had to deal with them, but several bad reviews on customer service.

Looking at buying my first PCP

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a compact PCP, that would be used to take small game. I've looked at the Hatsan jet, was wondering if anyone has one, and are there any issues with them? I also need a recommendation for a airgun compressor. I seen the yong heng is recommended frequently...

Need help with Value of crosman airguns

I'm not an expert by any means, but the one looks like a H9a and possibly a E9a, no idea on the rifle. I've seen H9a's for $300 alone, but as others have stated, they may need repairs.

If you do a quick Google search, on their customer service, you would clearly see they have issues. It seems several customers, as you put it, are flaming the company.
