    FX FX Maverick 30

This is the adjustable pin probe from FX. Its a great bit of kit. But when replacing the original with this one, it requires some adjustments. Your probe is sticking out to much. You have to adjust the probe backwards. This can be done in two ways. By adjusting the pin in the probe or by moving...

RTI RTI Mora, I want MORE-My Mora II wish list

To add to the wishlist of the Mora. Being able to swap the cocking lever to the right. In the current version of the Mora, a lot of mentioned drawbacks have already being addressed. - shorter cocking lever - complete new design dwellvalve and knob - ability to adjust the scope rail forward and...

    FX FX Maverick 30

I don't know for sure. But maybe the liner doesn't like slugs. FX makes their dedicated slug liners. You could take out the liner to see witch one you have. You Tube is your best friend when figuring out how to do this

    FX FX Maverick 30

Did you have any problems with feeding when shooting pellets? Of not than i don't think you have a problem with your probe. Maybe you can take a picture of the breech and probe. Might be something off. To be honest though. I think you really are stretching the capabilities of the Maverick...

Other Whats That One Pcp That's Checks All The Boxes

You could take a look at the 'RTI Mora' with its internal silencer, 50mm carbon shroud and supplied 'Hush 50' external silencer i think it has the potential to make it dead silence. Its dual reg setup reduces the chance of reg creep and allows you to really dial the energie back in effort to...

The Hush 50 that comes with the Mora fits both old and new monocore muzzle brake. I've got both muzzle brakes and it just fits...

RTI Rti Mora 600mm 25 cal

You might be right. Only RTI knows :) The longer cilinder and smaller piston makes me think the valve will be a bit easier to fine tune. Just guessing. The Mora certainly looks like its build to withstand the test of time. Its beautifully engineerd and well build. Keep us posted on you...

RTI Rti Mora 600mm 25 cal

Your welcome! Good to read that you finally get the results you are looking for. Very interesting to see a complete redisigned valve system. Longer spring, longer valve cilinder and smaller valve piston. Also different material valve seat. Wonder why RTI did that. I have zero issues with the...

Bumping up the reg pressure doesn't have to mean lower shot count. A higher reg pressure means there is less time needed to get the projectile up to speed. Which translates to a shorter dwelltime and less volume of air under pressure used To take out he valve assembly you can do it like this...

Here are a few pics of the valve assemble to help you out If you need more pictures or clos-ups. Just ask. I made a lot of pictures for future reference when i need to trouble shoot my own Mora

If upping the reg pressure or lowering the hammer spring tension isn't working i am thinking about as few causes that could affect the velocity. - leaking probe O-ring. The know for sure. Single load a pellet/slug. Close the cocking handle completely and keep your finger on the probe during the...

RTI Rti Mora 600mm 25 cal

Just a thought. My Mora is shooting 37gr .25 slugs at 980fps on a 134bar reg pressure. Its known that the same weight slug/pellet in a bigger caliber requires less pressure but more volume then a smaller caliber due to its bigger surface area. (Same pressure on a larger surface means higher...

RTI Rti Mora 600mm 25 cal

Did anything else also change on the Mora? I've seen Mora's with a shorter cocking handle, different grip, shorter or shifted shroud and different endcap on the muzzle. As far as velocity dropping when opening the valve dwell time screw. For as far as i know this shouldn't be possible with this...

RTI Rti Mora 600mm 25 cal

I don't know. But the LOP of my Maverick is at about 30cm (12inch) for me that is more comfortable. I think it's more of a personal preference. Both my Mora and Maverick have their pro's and con's when it comes to ergonomics. But across the line the Mora is the better shooting rifle for me when...

I agree. The bottom rail isn't the most sturdy one. At least you can ditch it and mount a M-lock weaver rail on the bottom. Then you can pretty much mount whatever rail extender you like.

RTI Rti Mora 600mm 25 cal

I have one. For about 2 months now. Pros - build like a tank and very high quality machining - very smooth shot cycle - binary valve makes it pretty ease to tune - stable regs when adjusted correctly. To big of a difference between 1st and 2nd reg will introduce reg creep. - very good balance...
