Is anyone else filling their gk1 to 5k psi with their 4500psi rated compressor I'm ready to order this gun but I have a gx cs3 compressor rated for 4500 will it fill the huben to 5k no problem? Thanks

That was starting at 4500 psi the .510 megalodon with the 235 gr was advertised for 950 fps for around 475 fpe but I'm not getting there.

A shot string with 82 gr pellets i thought i would of had better speeds than that to at least pass the 100pfe.. this is a new t9 probably 30 shots through it if so.

That decision should be based on what use you want for the gun...I got the .510 but I was looking for stopping power and 900 plus fps speeds with 230 gr slug...cons ammo more expensive as you go up in caliber and less shots per fill.

Yes now I keep it unckocked now was always in a rifle case...I just want to know if i could have strain or damage the hammer spring by keeping it cocked since I bought it back about 4 months ago...

That's really good power brother i am not sure if the megalodon shares the same mechanics for the huma regulator I'm pretty new to this air gun world this is my third air rifle. I have a marauder a talonp and my latest the megalodon

No the megalodon is not regulated but based what i seen by shooting yesterday around 4300/4200 psi is the optimal charge to get that first most powerful shot anything after that by what I see your wasting air and strain on strain on the mechanics like u said.
