    Help me fix my airgun

Yes I can compress the spring with spring and hammer assembly outside the gun. However there is a cut out *window in the hammer via which I can see the spring. I can see that if I compress the spring, the part that is outside the hammer compresses but not the part that is inside the hammer which...

    Help me fix my airgun

That's what I am confused about. What changed do dramatically. One thing I did do was apply some silicone grease. I have cleaned all that since. Can that case the expansion?

    Help me fix my airgun

In its failed condition, it was not easy to pull out. I had to rotate it anti clock wise and pull it to take it out. Same with install. I have to rotate it anti clock wise and press down. It isn't free moving. I do not know how it is meant to be though.

    Help me fix my airgun

Where the top blue arrow points to is a sort of securing ring. It is held onto the pin via a Allen screw. It has enough clearance from the sear. The angle of picture shows it differently. The sear that locks the hammer (top) is at the same level as the one that has the blue arrow at the bottom...

    Help me fix my airgun

First picture is with the tensioner screw. Notice how everything sits with load lever closed. I have not put the spring for the sear. Second picture shows when I am trying to load it by moving the load lever back. You can see the spring is now allowing the hammer to move back enough for the...

    Help me fix my airgun

No. Didn't make any changes. Story is that there is a training slide in this gun that I replaced. After that I noticed a change in the way loading lever operates. It wasn't smooth. So I again disassembled the parts. Then when I tried to assemble it, came across this issue. I am sure the assembly...

    Help me fix my airgun

I think this is what I wanted to confirm. The spring is binding. What I don't understand why did it start to happen all of a sudden. I will try and order a new spring while I get more input from you guys. I tried to take picture of the hammer's inside but camera is not helping.

    Help me fix my airgun

Just posted the details in the original post. At the time I had spent 7 hours straight trying to figure out the issue with full disappointment. Tired and clueless. It's is a hammerli ap40. I have not modified the spring.

    Help me fix my airgun

Spot on. It is a PCP Hammer AP40. I am not sure what changed and why the spring isn't compressing or if there is something else. Without the tension from the spring everything else works. With the tension screw removed, I can use my finger to apply slight pressure to the spring and with just...

    Help me fix my airgun

My airgun stopped working. I cannot pull the lever back in order to get hammer locked. I am keeping thr story short but my current assumption is that the spring is not getting compressed fully. And to confirm this I need help understand the operation of hammer and its spring. Please see the...

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

Ok. So need advise on this guys. I used two o ring on the silver adapter. Each with 3mm CS. I can now fill the cylinder and then use bleed valve. Because of the two o rings, the pin on the cylinder does not get pressed. This means I can de pressure the system. The issue with two o rings is...

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

Need a suggestion please. Can this work for my setup: Valve to fit in between grey adapter and couple I plan on installing it between the grey adapter and the brass coupler. I am not sure how to confirm the threads will work. Coupler and grey adapter have DIN threads.

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

Received the 'fill adapter' and it is like same as what came with the pistol. Concluding there aren't two types. Hence need to figure out a different solution.

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

I have removed air by pressing the pin. Ones air is removed, the pin moves freely. The grey adapter inside depth is the same as the cylinder threads + pin. So mechanically the pin will always be depressed when adapter is used. It's either a design flaw or I have to get the correct adapter. I...

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

So this adapter that came with this air pistol, has a hole. When I unscrew the cylinder, air escapes and I imagine the valve on cylinder closes as pin isn't depressed at this point. But it takes a good few turns for this to happen. I am not at a point that my cylinder is damaged and I have to...

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

This might be it.... but I am not a 100% sure. How can the cylinder fill up if the pin isn't depressed? I noticed online that the adapter that is black is being called a charging adapter. But it looks the same as my grey one.

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

I had a FWB as well at some point part. Yes they also came with their own adapter. Don't you have to use this adapter to fill as well as degas?

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

Because that is unique to this air pistol and supposed to fill the cylinder... I cannot think of any other way to fill. In fact if you Google hammerli ap40 cylinder adapter this comes up. It came with this pistol.

Yong Heng compressor what am i doing wrong

Yes and no. With hand pump there is a valve that one can release air from but if I do that then air will escape and empty the cylinder. However I do not touch this valve. I simply pump, fill the cylinder and disconnect. The cylinder is under pressure but not as much as the YH compressor. Does...
