Another of those... please help me decide on a air rifle.

I got the perfect answer... SPA p35x. Higher shot count than MROD. Light same price if not a little more affordable, same power at least. Regulated.

    Snowpeak P700 sa

I specifically want one for the 15 and In shots on small pests: mice, Chipmunk, sparrows which seem to come up every time I'm at it. Even Pesting, 930fps 22gr slug and a 4-16x scoped rifle just feels unsporting, but, appears to the uninvolved as cruel and overkill. These types don't often care...

I'm really wanting to grab one too, would like to know. I've seen decent numbers and damn good accuracy from a relatively small PCP.

Optics CVLife eaglefather 4-16x44SFIR $50 shipped

On the block today is a CV Life eaglefeather 4-16x44SFIR SFP 30mm tube rifle scope. 10 - Infinity parallax, side Parallax wheel, illuminated classic Mil dot reticle. Adjustments are 1/4moa. Scope is in great condition. The scope does track and return to zero. Definitely not a crappy scope...

    Umarex Zelos Hammer Spring Adjustment

I bottled mine, lifted the reg to 2500 (back down at 2350 now) still, any more than a 1/8-1/6 turn and it started shedding velocity. I'm fine where it is now. I have the .22 and i'm getting 923-931 fps with 21gr slugs, 907 with 22gr and 885 with 23's. 45-50 shots per .5L...

Projectiles .177 14gr Varmint Knockers HP Slugs $20 for 188 shipped

.1771 bore. These slugs are incredible. They expand WILDLY on impact. Work well with most guns. These are ALWAYS the first choice in projectile for me. Got a shipment today , multiple weights to test with in new gun. Found what works. Shot 12 of the 14gr. 188 remain. VK typically run for...

    .177 Pellets for hunting

Totally understand the limits of rotational stabilization. Diabolos are stabilized by aerodynamic drag and having the C of G forward of the C of P. Shouldn't require spin outside of exiting the muzzle. Just curious as to whether cylindricals are more reliant on rotational stabilization than...

    .177 Pellets for hunting

Why are .177 able to endure such higher velocities without going to hell from gyroscopic procession? Are these heavy cylindricals more dependant on spin stabilization rather than the shuttlcock effect of being front heavy? If I'm going to have to raise pressure that high and expend that much...

    .177 Pellets for hunting

That gun has always struck me as very ugly. At the same time it appeals to me because of the compact size and the fact you can fold it in half and just stow. If only there was a way to shoot it as a pistol too, would be the perfect gun.

    .177 Pellets for hunting

That's a shame. I'm not trying to use that much air per shot, or be at the pressure required to push 16s at 960. I like the balance of power and efficiency 13.43 pellets at 940-950 and the slugs at 920-930 offers It's odd, I've taken plenty at distance with .177, and I've NEVER even tried...

7-8 powdered up strike anywhere match heads, and the pen tip from the commissary log sheet pen. Yep, you get you a dinner plate sized group at 10-12 whole feet. Hell yeah, sherm up good and it'll shoot fence posts. Ammo Tune:

    .177 Pellets for hunting

This is what im looking for. This katran eats up the 4.50-4.52 cuda match... In fact I've not shot a .177 that doesn't like them yet. But, Im trying to buck the wind as much as possible. Hence favoring the 13.4 and 16gr pellets, planning to shoot 13.4 in prime weather, this gun is a scalpel...

    .177 Pellets for hunting

Slugs I have no doubts. The avenger and hatsan I recently sold ended a good many starlings with mk3 10.03s. I'm just curious about metal on meat experience with monsters and Beasts. The reduced frontal area and lower bc. Does a 15.9 .177 at 100 do what a 15.9 .22 will? MK 3 ko and varmint...

N/A Looking for a compact .22 PCP for woods walking

I was just writing up, I have a p35x that meets all the criteria except 23gr at 900+.. Anything within 100 is not leaving under its own power with HN 217 21gr or Javelin in the same size and weight. As currently set 18.13 are right about 930fps Very Light, accurate, enough power, affordable.

    .177 Pellets for hunting

That's vk 13.5 @ 940. Things explode on contact, essentially. 23-25 is kinda the limit on 13.43 pellets. Anything over 930 I'll start seeing the spiraling

    .177 Pellets for hunting

I was recently forced to find more places to shoot. Since my bastard 'neighbor" Interfered in my life. One of the ones I have the most access to, I cannot risk shooting things out of trees and have one of my 13-15gr slugs miss.. the energy/velocity retention of slugs is fantastic and use them...

It can fire .22, smoke enough pcp and it's a DuMoulin. Edit: Tactical ... Forgot it had the visible spectrum nocturnal illumination module under barrel
